Lee Dong-Wook, Wi Ha-Jun, Han Ji-Eun, and Cha Hak-Yeon in Upcoming Series "Bad and Crazy"
The action and detective K-drama will premiere this December
Chinese streaming platform iQiyi has announced their latest original K-series Bad and Crazy with Studio Dragon. Created by the team behind The Uncanny Counter, the new series features Lee Dong-Wook (Tale of the Nine Tailed and Goblin: The Lonely and Great God), Wi Ha-Jun (18 Again, Something in the Rain and Midnight), Han Ji-Eun (Lovestruck in the City and Be Melodramatic), and Cha Hak-Yeon (Mine and Children of Nobody). This action-packed detective story will be exclusively available on iQiyi in 191 countries and regions this December.
Bad and Crazy is the third collaboration between iQiyi and Studio Dragon, after My Roommate Is a Gumiho and Shooting Stars which is currently being filmed.
Bad and Crazy is a heroic theme drama about the capable but “bad guy” Su-yeol (Lee Dong-wook) and justice “crazy guy” K (Wi Ha-jun). Su-yeol is a corrupt supervisor, who just wants to get promotions. One day, however, he is suddenly committed to deal with social injustice and eradicate internal corruption within the police system. K, on the other hand, is a maniac who dreams to be a hero, and uses violence against injustice.
In this series, Lee will have both good and evil personalities. Han Ji-eun plays the ex-girlfriend of Lee. She enjoys the excitement of defeating villains and becomes an officer against drug cartels. Details for the character of Cha Hak-yeon is yet to be revealed, but it seems it will be a far cry from his character in the recently-concluded series Mine, and that makes it worth looking forward to.
iQiyi original K-series “Bad and Crazy” will be exclusively available on iQiyi International app or iQ.com.
