Kapamilyas And Metro Cover Girls Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Kathryn Bernardo Make It To Forbes Asia's 100 Digital Stars!
The region-wide list recognizes celebrities from TV, film, and music who have made the biggest impacts in today's digital platforms
Kapamilya actresses and Metro cover girls Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, and Kathryn Bernardo were among the celebrities honored by Forbes Asia magazine that named its "100 Digital Stars" list!
Celebrities and personalities who made it to the list—the first-ever by the publication—were evaluated based on their social media presence, use of innovative ways to remain active during this time, and philanthropic initiatives amidst the pandemic.
As stated by Forbes Asia, "With their powerful social media presence, these trailblazers have garnered millions of loyal followers across popular platforms, making them as famous online as they are on stage and screen. We’ve given special focus to celebrities who, despite cancelled physical events and activities, managed to remain active and relevant, largely by using social media to interact with their fans, raise awareness and inspire optimism."
Joining Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, and Kathryn Bernardo on Forbes Asia's 100 Digital Stars list are Vice Ganda and Sarah Geronimo. They're the next set of ABS-CBN stars to receive international recognition this week, days after fellow Kapamilya Arjo Atayde nabbed the Best Actor in a leading role award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards. Actress Marian Rivera was also part of the list.
Anne, Kim, and Kathryn were among the cover girls featured in Metro's 30th anniversary special last year.
