The Extravagant Details Of The Whoville-Themed Kardashian-West-Jenner Christmas Party
Christmas is the season of giving and the season for parties. The Kardashian-Jenner family has made it part of their annual holiday traditions to hold an epic Christmas party at Kris Jenner’s Calabasas mansion. This year, however, it was held at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's $60 million Hidden Hills mansion, which was amazingly transformed into North Pole.
It was the party to be, what with its winter wonderland theme that reportedly cost about $1.3 million to execute. Scroll down to read all about the highlights of yet another epic Kardashian party.
The cost of making it snow in Calabasas
According to People, an expert estimated the mansion’s "whoville magic to cost around $1.3 million. This includes elements like a 10,000-light tunnel for Instagram-perfect selfies and OOTNs; a real snow mountain for sledding in their huge backyard that was done by The Trask House and estimated to cost around $15,000; and fine art sculptures by Australian contemporary artist Kathy Temin.
It was an amazing party, but Kylie had to leave early because...
... she needed to give her adorable baby Stormi a bath!
After gracing the event, wearing matching silver sparkly outfits with her daughter, Stormi Webster, Kylie had to leave early and switch from party to mommy mode. On Instagram Stories, Kylie said, "This is me leaving the party early to go give my baby a bath (while wearing this dress because I couldn't get it off by myself) and put her to sleep and it was the best xmas eve yet."
The "legendary" performance inside a snow mountain
As if things couldn’t get more extravagant, Grammy award-winning artist John Legend performed songs from his Christmas album titled A Legendary Christmas. The performance was watched by the family and their A-lister guests inside a faux snow mountain that’s estimated to be worth $50,000. The family hired party planner Mindy Weiss to make their winter wonderland dream party come to life.

Although there weren't a lot of social media posts about the food served at the Christmas party, florist and owner of the D.C.-based Atelier Ashley Flowers was tapped by People to give an estimate on the cost of this lavish event. Ashley said, “While I have yet to see any photos of the food posted, we do know it was catered by The Kitchen for Exploring Food. At a nice but not over-the-top event, you can expect to spend around $125 a person on food and beverage. At a Kardashian-West-Weiss event, it’s going to be closer to $400 a person.” A sugar artist was reportedly invited to make custom lollipops for the kids during the event.
The star-studded guest list
Present at this magical white Christmas party were celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, Paris Hilton, Sia, Kimora Lee Simmons, Dave Chappelle, Tyler the Creator, Chris Brown, and John Legend.
