Kathryn Bernardo Wins Best Actress at Asian Academy Creative Awards

The Box Office Queen is recognized for her powerful portrayal in the black comedy thriller film "A Very Good Girl"

Kathryn Bernardo did it again! The Box Office Queen wins another award for her remarkable performance in the black comedy thriller film A Very Good Girl, this time earning the National Best Actress in a Leading Role award from the 2024 Asian Academy Creative Awards.


In the movie directed by Petersen Vargas, Kathryn plays the role of Philo, who develops an intricate revenge plan to take down villainous CEO "Mother" Molly Suzara (played by Dolly de Leon). 



Asian Academy Creative Awards is held annually and is now on its seventh year. Presented every December as part of the Singapore Media Festival, it recognizes excellence in the film and television industry across 16 nations in the Asia-Pacific region.


For her portrayal in A Very Good Girl, Kathryn also won the Best Actress awards at the 7th EDDY'S Award, 52nd GMMSF - Box Office Entertainment Awards, and 72nd FAMAS Awards.


What's next for Kathryn is her soon-to-be-released movie with Alden Richards, Hello, Love, Again, which is the sequel to 2019's Hello, Love, Goodbye


Hello, Love, Again, directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, will be released on November 13, 2024.
