Here's Kathryn Bernardo’s Full Speech at Asia Artist Awards 2023
Kathryn Bernardo is among the Asian superstars who snagged an award at the annual AAA
On December 14, this year’s Asia Artist Awards (AAA) transpired at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, taking place in the Philippine terrain for the first time. K-drama and K-pop personalities graced the global convergence of artists to celebrate Asia’s top talents—from film and television figures to artists and performers alike.
For the eighth edition of the AAA, South Korea’s annual entertainment awards—hosted by Star News, Tonz Entertainment, and Pulp Live World—honored the biggest and brightest stars of the region, some of which are our very own Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Melai Cantiveros, Ben&Ben, SB19, and Hori7on.
At the event, Kathryn Bernardo were ecstatic when she received the Fabulous Award recognition alongside Hallyu actor Lim Young Woong, girl group NewJeans, boy band Stray Kids, and Kapamilya artist Daniel Padilla. “Hello, guys. Magandang gabi sa inyong lahat,” Kathryn started off as she entered the stage to accept another addition to her accolades.
“I hope you’re all having a great time. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Kathryn Bernardo and I’m a Filipina actress,” she said, all smiles. “Wow! What an honor to be recognized tonight with these beautiful and talented people. Thank you so much, AAA, for this Fabulous Award.”
“It’s my first time attending this,” Kathryn continued, clutching her trophy tight and looking at it from time to time. “Nakaka-proud na bilang Pilipino, tayo ‘yung nagho-host ng ganitong event. Also, I want to take this opportunity to thank everybody for supporting Filipino-made TV series as well as movies.”
On her latest feat, the A Very Good Girl actress feels blessed beyond measure. Last September, Kathryn made waves at the 2023 Seoul International Drama Awards, too, winning the Outstanding Asian Star title. “Patapos na ’yung taon but I feel so blessed and I’m sharing this award with all of you. Maraming maraming salamat.”
