Immediately, "KDLEX DIREK CATHY IN HK" trended on Twitter, with fans expressing their excitement and gratitude for the possibility of a collaboration between KDLex and Direk Cathy.
KD and Alexa's love team soared from their Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10 stint. The popularity of their tandem led to them starring in the mini rom-com drama series Run to Me and holding a fan con titled "Closer: The KDLex Fan Con" in February 2022. Both talented in music and dubbed as local showbiz's "Hottest Musical Pair," they have also collaborated on songs such as "Misteryo" and "When I See You Again."
What's next for KDLex is the PETA musical Walang Aray, which will have 40 shows from February 17 to May 14 at the PETA Theater Center. As of December, KDLex will have 12 shows distributed in those three months.
