Kelsey Merritt, a Filipino-American model, is literally still in disbelief about completing her Victoria's Secret shoot at this very moment.

Working with the internationally known lingerie brand—which has seen the likes of Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Karlie Kloss, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Miranda Kerr front its campaigns and fashion shows—appears to be a self-fulfilling prophecy for the 22-year-old who tweeted about accomplishing the professional milestone last year.

The tweet shows Kelsey promising herself to one day join the ranks of Victoria's Secret models who have eventually gone on to become household names. Earlier this week, she retweeted her post, following it up by saying that the company did indeed get in touch with her for a shoot.

Another tweet showed Kelsey's more patriotic side, as she claimed she was working hard to be able to make her country proud.

Judging from the Ateneo de Manila University alumna's social media accounts, Kelsey flew to Brooklyn, New York earlier this week for the shoot where she was accompanied by her sister, Keagan, and shot by swimsuit and lingerie photographer, Kyle Deleu.

We've yet to see finished products of the shoot, but we're sure that they won't disappoint! Kelsey, after all, is an experienced model whose portfolio includes work she's done with modeling agencies in Los Angeles, London, Milan, Miami, and New York. She first caught our eye when she fronted a Maybelline Philippines campaign in 2017, and she's risen to even greater heights since then.
