Khloe Kardashian Is Expecting!

Khloe has broken the news! She is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, a professional basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Yay!

There has been speculation for months about Khloe's pregnancy, and it was only today that the reality star confirmed the rumors through an Instagram post. The black and white photo shows her bare baby bump with Tristan's hands gently resting on her belly, and her hands on his.

My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient. I still at times can't believe that our love created life! Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!! You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! I will never forget how wonderful you've been to me during this time! Thank you for making me so happy my love! Thank you to everyone for the love and positive vibes! I know we've been keeping this quiet but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately. To enjoy our first precious moments just us ?? Khloe has been very vocal about wanting a child and starting a family. She openly discussed her fertility issues on her TV show, Khloe & Lamar, with ex-husband Lamar Odom, making this a truly delightful time for the 33-year-old. She also cites how her loving relationship is the perfect environment to raise a child, mentioning that she and Tristan are both Christians and share the same belief systems when it comes to spirituality and parenting. 

In the same Instagram post, Khloe also explains why she and her family have been keeping the news quiet:

"I know we’ve been keeping this [quiet] but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately. To enjoy our first precious moments just us. Thank you all for understanding."

Her followers clearly understand and are all ecstatic over the announcement as the post has garnered over close to five million likes since it was posted four hours ago, as of this writing. 

The baby-bringing stork has been extra generous with the Kardashian-Jenner clan this year; Khloe isn't the only Kardashian with a baby on the way. Her sister Kim announced in September that she was expecting another another bundle of joy next year, although unlike Khloe, Kim has enlisted a surrogate to carry her child. Khloe's little sister, Kylie, is also pregnant.

"I am so thankful, excited, nervous, eager, overjoyed and scared all in one! But it’s the best bundle of feelings I’ve ever felt in my life!” the soon-to-be mother concludes. 

Whether Khloe is expecting a little baby boy or girl, and if she and Tristan are going to get hitched now that they're going to become parents, we'll just have to wait and see!
