5 Celeb Couples At The #AllStarGames2019 Who Weren't Afraid To Show Some Serious PDA
It was impossible not to have hearts thumping at the sight of them!
It wasn't just a thick mix of competitiveness, tension, and sportsmanship permeating the air at the recently-concluded All Star Games 2019; romance was in the atmosphere, too!
Thank the stars who weren't afraid to show support for (and in some cases, serious PDA with) their famous significant others for the generous doses of kilig and sweetness! We spotted 10 celebrities who fit the bill for cutest couples over the weekend and we've rounded up some of their best moments at the event.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla
Did these two just share a public kiss in front of thousands and thousands of cheering fans?
We'll never know for sure because of the angle the photos of the smooch (lip to cheek, lips to lips or otherwise) were taken from but regardless of that, the moment scores a 10/10 in kilig rankings. The way Kathryn gazes lovingly into Daniel's eyes sans script and cameras rolling was enough for the biggest KathNiel fans to burst into tears and be overwhelmed by emotions they couldn't have possibly named, but pure, unbridled ecstasy is a good place to start.
Dressed in a white baseball cap and a Red Hot Chili Peppers sweatshirt, the Hello, Love, Goodbye leading lady showed support for beau from the stands and after a particularly exciting face-off with opponents, made sure to be extra affectionate.
Vice Ganda and Ion Perez
Here's a pair-up that almost no one thought would treat their fans to some PDA so soon.
Vice Ganda and Ion Perez (a model and male pageant contestant who, perhaps by fate, made it to the It's Showtime stage that paved the way for their fortuitous meeting) were on the same team at this year's All-Star Games. But aside from just showing off their team work on the hard court, some prolonged hand-holding and enthusiastic hugging went down, too—and the expression on everyone's faces as captured in photos says it all!
Though neither Vice nor Ion (a.k.a. love team ViceIon, as their shippers call them these days) have confirmed their brewing romance, the rumor mill went from 0 to 200 just a few weeks ago when it was reported that their families met. What they talked about exactly (and if they discussed their relationship in private) is still up for speculation.
For now, ViceIon fans were more than happy to witness their physical closeness up close!
Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte
Three cheers for reel-to-real couples, please.
Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte, yet another successful love team whose onscreen match-up proved to have some pretty real manifestations in the real world, were all coupled up during the event and LoiNie fanatics were all over it.
During breaks from Loisa's volleyball matches and Ronnie's basketball games, the two made sure to catch their breath together, much to the delight of hawk-eyed fans in the venue hoping to catch a glimpse of their idols sharing a moment or two.
The pair sat on the sidelines to watch the rest of the games unfold and at the end of the day, gamely posed for photos in their jerseys and post-sports selves. As the proud girlfriend that she is, Loisa also took the time to post her own photos of the special day and share just how proud she was of Ronnie for playing a part in the games. Extra points go to her for greeting him a happy 33rd monthsary in the same post.
Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford
Can anyone say husband and wife goals?
Coleen Garcia, though just an audience member and not a player in the games, went all-out for her husband Billy Crawford by being his number one cheerleader at the sporting event. Never mind that Billy was on the team that lost; he was still her number one all throughout and judging by the smiles on both their faces, her support was more than enough to help get him through the competitiveness of the games!
Coleen was photographed sitting beside It's Showtime buddies Anne Curtis and Karylle and standing up to cheer him on—loud enough for him to hear—when things got tense. And before we forget—that good luck kiss before Billy started the game was everything.
How cute is this Mr. and Mrs.?
Kim Chiu and Xian Lim
In the world of the All-Star Games' best kilig moments, there's one that definitely, unanimously tops the list.
Kim Chiu and Xian Lim pulled all the strings: a kiss, a hug, cheering on the sidelines, prolonged gazes, and sweet smiles from across the room (or arena, this time), and then some. Screams erupted for that one hug they shared that involved a jump and a double leg wrap; it was definitely an adorable, couple-y gesture, and to see your idols so in love and unashamed of it was surely a treat to the biggest KimXi supporters out there.
We honestly didn't mind when our feeds were temporarily flooded with photo after photo and video after video of the seconds-long moment. It just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter with every swipe and double tap.
Kim Chiu, captain of the red team, and her teammates eventually ended the day with the gold, but we know what, or who, her real trophy is.
