Prior to Kim Min-kyu’s leap to popularity, he used to undergo training with the team to become an idol. “I was only a trainee for a month,” he explained, noting that he eventually quit his quest for a K-pop career. “I wasn’t extremely good at singing to the extent of becoming a singer, and I’m really bad at dancing. I also had a thirst for acting that never went away,” he stressed.
