These Photos Give Us Glimpses Of How Some Korean Celebs Are Spending The Holiday Season

For many Filipinos this year, fangirling over their favorite Korean artists, K-dramas, and K-pop hits was what kept their minds off the stress and anxiety brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. Even from miles away, these Hallyu stars comforted the viewers from this side of the world through their projects and even just their social media updates or vlogs.
It's been a wonderful year for K-dramas, evident in popular Filipino favorites like Crash Landing on You, Itaewon Class, The King: Eternal Monarch, It's Okay to Not be Okay, The World of the Married, Flower of Evil, and Start-Up.
We've gotten to know many of them over the past months we've been under quarantine. That's why this Christmas, it gave us a warm-and-fuzzy feeling as we got glimpses of how some of these celebrities are celebrating the holiday season and how they've decorated their Christmas trees.

Shin Se-Kyung
She currently stars in the K-drama "Run On" with Im Si-wan. This year, she also received her YouTube Gold Play Button for her channel "신세경 sjkuksee," which has 1.11 million subscribers as of this writing; this makes her the first-ever Korean actress to have achieved this milestone.

Jisoo
With her BLACKPINK co-members, Jisoo celebrated several firsts this 2020, like the release of their debut Korean-language studio album, "The Album," among other remarkable wins. But on her own, Jisoo also made headlines as she was tapped for a lead role in the 2021 K-drama "Snowdrop" with Jung Hae-in.

Yeo Jin-Goo
Fans of "Start-Up" will remember him right away for his cameo in the hit K-drama. This year, he also worked on a reality show, "House on Wheels," an episode of which reunited him with his "Hotel del Luna" co-star IU. He will star in the upcoming drama "Monster."

Jang Keun-Suk
His last K-drama before enlisting in the military was "Switch" back in 2018. He served as a social office worker as he was deemed unfit for active soldier duties due to his bipolar disorder diagnosis. He was discharged last May, and is yet to announce his comeback project.

Cha Eun-Woo
These days, he's making K-drama fans swoon with his ongoing series "True Beauty," opposite Moon Ga-young. He's also a regular in variety show "Master in the House" and has been dabbling in hosting duties for events like the recent SBS Entertainment Awards.
