Kris Jenner Channels Kim Kardashian's Blonde 'Do, Plus Other Kardashian Updates

Kris Jenner had a fierce start this 2018 as she dyed her hair blonde to welcome the new year. On Instagram, the 62-year-old momager debuted her new hairstyle with the caption: “January 2nd back at work here we go!!!” Complementing her fiery look are bronze eyeshadow, spidery lashes, and nude lipstick (plus, a subtle pout!).

Hairstylist Chris Appleton, one of the go-to experts of the KarJenner fam, is responsible for this transformation. Chris had a similar Instagram post with the caption, “Look who joined the gang! Looking HOT.”

Kris’ photo went viral as netizens pointed out how much she looks like her daughter, Kim Kardashian, with her new hair color. Kim’s hair has been ash blonde for months now—coming from her cascading locks, she went for a blunt bob.

But on the same day Kris Instagrammed her new look, Kim posted a throwback photo where she’s wearing her hair dark, with the caption, “Dark hair for the new year?” It’s either she doesn’t like her and her mom having the same hair color at the same time, or she just really wants a new year-new me makeover as well.

As the running joke on their reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians goes, Kim is Kris’ favorite daughter. This is perhaps why Kris has been channeling Kim. Last October, she also rocked blonde hair—take note—just about a month after Kim went icy blonde, also courtesy of Chris Appleton.

Meanwhile, Kim’s other blonde sister, Khloe, is six months pregnant now, but she’s still looking sexy! After announcing her pregnancy, she made her talk show debut yesterday via The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she shared details about her journey to motherhood so far. In the interview with host Ellen DeGeneres, Khloe (who wore a white figure-hugging dress with a white silk cover-up to the TV guesting) said, “Hopefully I look pregnant, not just fat. It’s hard for me to breathe right now…I’m gonna try to not wear maternity clothes as long as possible.”
