WATCH: Kryz Uy Tears Up While Announcing Something Special—A Baby On The Way!

"I'm pregnant," Kryz Uy announced in a brief but emotional Instagram video while tears rolled down her cheeks and a smile spread across her face. Two pregnancy tests confirmed the news: she's expecting, and there's no denying it!

"Onto the next chapter," she added, ending the clip with a shot of her and her husband of nine months, Slater Young, sharing an intimate embrace.

It's a touching moment for the 30-year-old influencer whose social media presence focuses on her travels, beauty finds, and style inspirations. Knowing that her posts will soon be interspersed with experiences of first-time motherhood and updates on her pregnancy is definitely heartwarming and exciting for everyone!

The announcement was met with a tsunami of congratulations from Kryz and Slater's friends, some of whom had already been told the good news beforehand but waited for this mommy-in-the-making to reveal it herself before saying anything.

Kryz's BFFs and fellow influencers Camille Co, Laureen Uy, Nicole Andersson, Vern and Verniece Enciso, Vina Guerrero, and Lissa Kahayon were among the first to share their well wishes, while celeb friends like Kelly Misa, Mikaela Martinez, Chesca Garcia-Kramer, Christinana Collings, Cristalle Belo-Pitt, Dani Barretto, and Janine Gutierrez soon followed with their own messages.

In a 15-minute vlog about her pregnancy announcement, Kryz goes on to say that she and Slater had waited until she completed her first trimester before making the big reveal. To date, she's in her fourth month and is fast preparing for the arrival of the littlest member of their family. 

The same video also shows the exact moment Kryz told Slater about her pregnancy (she took a pregnancy test alone, and found out on her own in Manila while Slater was in Cebu where they're based). Wrapping the pregnancy tests in a brown bag and decorating it with a ribbon and flowers, Kryz handed Slater the small package that carried huge life-changing news with it.

All in all, it's the best way for this couple to end 2019 and start 2020 anew. Christmas came early for them, so to speak. 

Making Kryz's baby news even more special is the fact that Slater had been wanting children practically since he married Kryz, and now, the time has finally come for the  happy couple to become a family.
