#StormiWorld: All The Details Of Kylie Jenner’s Daughter's Extravagant First Birthday Party
A year after Kylie Jenner’s internet-breaking pregnancy/birth announcement, could we have expected any less?
Around this time last year, social media mogul and beauty entrepreneur Kylie Jenner finally broke her silence and revealed that she was indeed pregnant—nine months after the fact. A few days after the birth of her first child, Stormi Webster, Kylie released an 11-minute video on her YouTube channel, documenting her pregnancy journey all the way up to her daughter’s birth.
This February, little Stormi turned one—and Kylie, Travis Scott, and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan celebrated in what we’re pretty sure was the party of the century. The Stormi-themed birthday party (you’ll understand when you see the photos!), dubbed #StormiWorld, was both amusement park-inspired and a nod to Travis Scott’s album, Astroworld.
“I had to go all out for my baby,” the first-time mom said on Instagram. And go all out they did! The doting parents evidently spared no expense for their precious angel. The party, Kylie shared, came to her in a dream, and was brought to life in a party that will surely go down in history.

The event planner
“I dreamed about this party and drew it up on paper room by room and Mindy Weiss really made my vision come to life,” Kylie shared on social media. The celebrity event and wedding planner is known to have planned weddings and parties with names like Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello, Ashley Greene, Heidi Klum, and Jennifer Lopez.
The theme
Despite the amusement park vibe, it’s clear the true theme was patterned after Stormi herself. Guests entered through a giant inflatable replica of her face (inspired by her dad Travis Scott’s album cover art), and walked through a cotton clouds and fringe—a “storm” (get it?)—to make it to the main area.
Every corner of the venue was picture-perfect, and inspired by the birthday girl’s favorite things and the celebrant herself: carnival rides, which included three-storey slides and a carousel, a rainbow archway, a rainbow butterfly forest (Stormi is said to love butterflies), ladies dressed as fairies, a wall of giant teddy bears, blown up photos of Stormi, a cloud room, and Stormi-themed carnival games. To the delight of the kids in attendance, one of the celebration's main events included a live Baby Shark performance!
Guests enjoyed fries in Louis Vuitton-inspired monogrammed packaging, marked ’SW’ instead of ‘LV.’ Mini pizzas were served in SW-monogrammed boxes, and drinks were prepared in ‘Stormiworld’ plastic cups. Partygoers were also seen with ‘Stormiworld’ balloons in hand—even the garbage cans were found to be monogrammed!
And most extra of all? Stormi Shop, an entire store with Stormi merchandise, available in sizes for adults, children, and babies!
The fashion
The birthday girl was dressed up in a red sequined dress and a pair of matching Nikes for the occasion. Meanwhile, her mom arrived in a pink blazer dress, and later changed into a custom-made baby blue suede suit by Michael Costello—because what’s a KarJenner party without an outfit change?
The guests
Of course, the Kardashian-Jenner clan was there to celebrate dear little Stormi’s first birthday! Caitlyn Jenner was in attendance, along with her 21-year-old partner, Sophia Hutchins. Kris Jenner, Khloé, and Kourtney Kardashian also made it to the party, along with their little ones, and Rob Kardashian’s daughter, Dream. Other notable guests included Scott Disick’s girlfriend Sofia Richie, Kylie’s BFF Jordyn Woods, and DJ Khaled. Because the party had been postponed to a later date (it was supposed to take place a week earlier), aunts Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner were noticeably missing in action, Kim at a masterclass and Kendall at New York Fashion Week.
The presents
While Travis and Kylie’s gift to Stormi has yet to be revealed (but hey, wasn't the over-the-top party more than enough?), we did get a glimpse of some of the one-year-old’s extravagant birthday presents! A shot of her wrapped presents included packages marked Gucci and Christian Louboutin. Most surprising, however, was that DJ Khaled gifted Stormi with her very first Chanel—a little red purse (the surprise: that Stormi didn’t already receive her first Chanel earlier).
The cake
And as if everything mentioned above weren’t enough, #StormiWorld proceeded to exceed expectations with a lavish birthday cake by LA-based Julie Simon Cakes. The five-tiered birthday cake was decorated with flowers, and topped with a mini carousel made entirely of sugar.
Following Kim Kardashian’s lavish Alice in Wonderland-themed birthday party for her daughter Chicago’s first birthday, Stormi Webster’s party was even more than we could have expected—and still, we probably haven’t seen the last of the Kardashians’ over-the-top first birthday parties! In a few short months, Khloe Kardashian’s daughter True Thompson will be joining the club. We can’t wait to see how that celebration will turn out!
