Engagement Alert! Lady Gaga Is Going To Become Mrs. Christian Carino!
It's just one momentous event after another for this heck of a superstar!
First came her MTV Movie & TV Awards win for her Gaga: Five Foot Two documentary in June. Next came her film debut in the Bradley Cooper-directed A Star Is Born this month, her maiden silver screen project that, as early as now, is earning her a ton of Oscar buzz.
Then, hot on the tails of the praise being showered on her film was her recognition at the 2018 Elle's Women in Hollywood ceremony. In her acceptance speech, she took her time (25 minutes, exactly) to tearfully discuss the issues that mattered to her most and why it was important for a woman of influence like herself needed to use her voice to uplift others.

Nearing the end of her message, as she was rolling out her list of thank yous, she casually gave one out to a man she called her fiancé, much to the (pleasant) surprise of her audience.
"Thank you, ELLE. Thank you all the loved ones in my life. Bobby, I love you. Everybody at table 5. My fiancé Christian. All the loved ones in my life who take care of me every day," she said.
You heard (and read) that right—the Joanne singer is engaged, and she just revealed the news to the world!
While it might be a shocker to those who haven't been paying close attention to the personal life of the Grammy Award-winning singer, fans who know her best will definitely recognize the "Christian" she referred to. She was talking about none other than Christian Carino, a talent management agent she's been seeing since early last year.

The generally low-profile personality might have managed to dodge the public eye for months, but he definitely hasn't shied away from expressing his affection and admiration for his lady love online. His sparsely populated Instagram that doesn't give much away about himself is full of shots of Lady Gaga, both candid and artistic.
Rumors suggest that the pair has actually been engaged since November last year, but kept the moment private in order for them to enjoy it as a couple before her millions of fans chimed in on the news.

With the epic news drop came intense investigations of signs of her engagement, revealing that the massive rock she wore at the Elle event was indeed an engagement ring. Its composition hasn't been confirmed, but it's speculated that its main circular stone is either an incredibly valuable pink sapphire or pink diamond that's encircled in—you guessed it—more diamonds. A minimalistic white gold band holds the jewels together, the whole piece ringing up a grand estimate of $300,000—at the very least.
Interestingly, Lady Gaga has actually been wearing the ring for months on that finger in many of her red carpet appearances and Joanne performances but no one seemed to relate it with a possible engagement.
