Laufey Brings Her "Bewitched: The Goddess Tour" to Manila

The Grammy Award-winning artist is set to do her first Arena headline in Manila this September

Laufey is set to hold a concert in Manila, Philippines this September

The Icelandic singer-songwriter shared the news, much to her fans' delight, captioning her post, "I'm bringing The Goddess Tour to Asia & Australia 🤍 I can't wait for these shows!"

Laufey's "Bewitched: The Goddess Tour" will be held in SM Mall of Asia Arena on September 2, 2024, as also announced by entertainment company Live Nation Philippines. This marks her first Arena headline, too! More details will be released soon.

Her tour also include stops in Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney.

Laufey, 24, is a jazz-inspired pop artist, who's also known for being a cello soloist. She joined Iceland's Got Talent as a finalist in 2014 and The Voice Iceland, where she ended her journey as a semi-finalist, in 2015. Her career in the music scene started in 2020 when she released her debut single "Street by Street." So far, she has two studio albums, Everything I Know About Love (2022) and Bewitched (2023).

Praised and well-loved for bringing back interest in the jazz genre, Laufey went on to become an award-winning artist. This year alone, she received four awards: Icelandic Optimism Award; Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, and Electronic Vocal Performance of the Year and Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, and Electronic Performer of the Year; and the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album in the 66th Grammy Awards.

Laufey will also be in Manila for a 2-night show, "Laufey: A Night at the Symphony with the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra" on May 28 and 29, 2024 at the PICC Plenary Hall.
