Christmas this year is different because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But despite it casting a shadow over the annual festivities and holiday family traditions, these local celebrities and personalities made sure to celebrate the spirit of Christmas somehow. After all, in spite of all the bad things that happened in 2020, there are still many things to be grateful for.
Some like Kim Chiu and Xian Lim went out of town in Boracay for the first time after several months under quarantine, while many preferred to stay at home. Some marked the special occasion revealing a holiday postcard-pretty photo shoot like Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes with their kids Zia and Ziggy, while many kept their family photos simple and classic as they posed by their Christmas trees. As for the dress code, holiday colors red, white, and blue were aplenty, but we've spotted some families in cute matching pajamas, too, like Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano with son Seve. Some, like Anne Curtis-Smith and Erwan Heussaff (with baby Dahlia), spent their first Christmas with their firstborn, while some had a fun time with their fur babies, like newlywed couple Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli.
Different is not necessarily bad, especially during a time when the safety of everyone is of utmost importance. What matters most this holiday season is that you and your loved ones are safe and well enough to gather over noche buena or to catch up online and send virtual hugs and kisses.
