Neri Naig-Miranda's Rest House and Beddings
This entrepreneurial mom / "wais na misis" is a bed and breakfast, restaurant, and mini farm owner for about five years now. Recently, she launched Miranda's Rest House in Alfonso, Cavite. It's a homey and quiet spot, and it's a place you might want to visit if you're looking for any excuse to get out of the house for just a weekend. (Maybe consider it when quarantine restrictions have eased up?). If you're looking to make your house feel summery, Neri also has her brand of beddings called Very Neri, and she's got a whole bunch of happy prints to choose from.

Chi Gibbs' Neon Island
Chi Gibbs co-founded Neon Island, a fashion label that celebrates all things bold and maximalist. She's proudest of the fact that all their designs are hand-drawn and all garments are made right here in the Philippines. Their bikinis and lounge wear coordinates are arguably their best-sellers, given their super unique prints and trendy colors (but they do sell going out clothes, too!). Neon Island is all about keeping things funky and upbeat even these days, when it's a little more challenging to be in a celebratory, energetic place. Beach trip or no beach trip, you can still feel like you're living your best summer life by wearing your fave Neon Island swimwear indoors. Chi will be happy to hear that you make up your own rules this way.

Tricia Gosingtian's Hinhin World
Entrepreneur Tricia Gosingtian got her start in the industry as a blogger. She loved all things fashion and beauty, and over time, she transformed from someone who simply appreciated these things to a business owner with her very own niche. She launched Hinhin last year and the brand is all about serving feminine pieces with dreamy, old world charm. Think of Alice in Wonderland or Dorothy, if they became fashionistas. A lot of her pieces are midi dresses designed to be flowy and airy, making them summer must-haves for the girl who loves to dress up.

Sam Pinto's boutique resort and Sirena Swimear
Newlywed and beach buff Sam Pinto turned her love for sand, sea, and sun into two lucrative businesses: a boutique resort in Baler, Aurora called L'Sirene, and a matching swimwear brand she named Sirena Swimear. She launched the beachfront property in 2017 with the hopes of providing Metro Manila tourists a non-commercialized option for their Baler travels; guests love it for its peacefulness and surf spots, plus its limited capacity ensures that they can relax surrounded by nature, rather than crowds. Her swimwear brand was launched even earlier; Sirena Swimwear came about in 2015, and one of the reasons that makes it so popular is because of its wide size range. Super petite and curvy girls alike can find a piece perfect for them. As a bonus, Sam also has fashion brand Finn. It's one of her newer ventures, and what it focuses on are pieces that show off frilly femininity. It's got lots of cleavage and clavicle-bearing designs, plus lots of lace, ruffles, and stringy self-tie straps.

Callie Ahmee's Cal The Brand
Dimples Romana and Boyet Ahmee's teenage daughter Callie launched her very own bag business late last year! She used her savings to create Cal the Brand, and the best thing about it is it's not only stylish and an all-around beach and summer bag, it also uplifts the lives of local artisans and promotes a love for local. Cal the Brand's woven bags are minimalist in design, but feature super attractive shapes you don't often see, definitely made for the fashionable gal.

Gerald Anderson's Hayati Private Resort
Zambales is where you'll find Gerald Anderson's brand new beachfront resort. It's rugged and real, and the whole point of staying there is to experience the beach and surrounding nature up close and personal. In place of hotel rooms, there are fully-furnished kubos and family-sized huts (they're different sizes depending on what kind of group you're traveling with), and as for amenities, you have the open ocean, a pool, and multiple outdoor lounge areas.

Bela Padilla's Britory
Is there anything she can't do? She's an actress, a budding director and screenwriter, plus she also owns her very own skincare brand. She launched Britory last year, a Korean line of skincare products specially designed for the gal who wants a product that does more for less. No need to pile on layer after layer of products to get glowy skin—perfect if you don't want to weigh your face down in this heat with a ton of applications—which is always ideal!
