All The Details Of Lorin Gutierrez's Coachella-Inspired 16th Birthday Party

Showbiz royalty and rising star Lorin Gutierrez had an amazing, star-studded music festival-themed 16th birthday party last night! Ruffa Gutierrez’s eldest daughter took inspiration from Coachella for her celebration that gathered her family and closest friends together for a fun night to remember.

Held at Whitespace Makati, guests of #LorinAt16 were welcomed into a bright and colorful festival-inspired venue with food kiosks, game corners, plush couches, photo booths, and dressed-up areas for photo ops.

“I knew I wanted something casual, modern, and fun like this,” the birthday girl says about her party. With the help of her party planner La Belle Fete, event stylist Gideon Hermosa, and Juan Carlo the Caterer, Lorin was able to achieve the party of her dreams. Forgoing the traditional ball gowns for a debut-like celebration such as this, Lorin donned a custom Rosenthal Tee off-shoulder ensemble. Her fresh and fab look was courtesy of her glam squad Mikka Marcaida and RJ dela Cruz. 

Lorin made a grand entrance as hosts Janeena Chan and Mond Gutierrez presented her onstage to kick-off the program. The Bloomfields serenaded everyone with a great lineup of The Beatles cover songs.

Members of the Gutierrez clan were present, of course: her grandfather Eddie, grandmother Annabelle, her sister Venice, and her uncle Richard with his fiancée Sarah Lahbati and their son Zion. Her star-studded guest list also included celebrities and personalities Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez; Charlene Gonzalez-Muhlach; Dr. Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho; Cristalle Belo-Pitt; Ella and Anthony Pangilinan; Bubbles Paraiso; Mariel Padilla; Marjorie, Leon, and Julia Barretto; Andrea Brillantes; Kyle Echarri; Angelina Cruz; Phoemela Baranda; and Nicole Ortega.

Later into the night, Ruffa and Lorin’s sister Venice joined her as everyone sang her a happy birthday and blew the candles on her towering cake. Her personal wish is for further growth, success, and happiness for the future that lies ahead of her.

Asked about how she feels about Lorin turning 16, Ruffa tells Metro.Style, “I am very, very happy and proud that she’s achieved so much already at such a young age, following her dreams and her journey.” 

To say that it was a fantastic night is totally an understatement. And if Lorin's 16th birthday is as amazing as this, we’re intrigued about how much grander her debut could be!

“For her 18th, baka she’ll celebrate it in a bigger way, or we’ll travel na lang,” Ruffa reveals.
