The unexpected lovers are falling head over heels in love during a loved up vacation to Kyoto, Japan.

The actress and director were once just close friends for more than a decade before they started dating. Fans first got wind of their secret romance late in 2017, with the couple shyly stating that they were not in a hurry to label themselves, but were completely satisfied where they are at the moment.

Angel and Neil confirmed their relationship on the first day of the year, with friends, family, and fans being totally excited for them in their new journey as a couple.

In a rare instance, the mostly low-key couple showed off their adorable bonding moments from their post-Valentine's bonding trip on each of their Instagram accounts. They're clearly smitten by the other person, and we couldn't be happier for them!
