Richard Gomez And Lucy Torres Celebrate Their 21st Anniversary With The Sweetest Tributes Ever
Actors turned public servants Lucy Torres and Richard Gomez have been head over heels for each other and only each other since the early 90s, and theirs is a love story their collective fanbases—us included!—have remained inspired by over the years.

It's likely that there will be an accompanying caption; Lucy almost always talks about how she has loved Richard since she was 12 years old, while Richard never gets tired of reminiscing about the day he met Lucy on a TV set.

This month, Lucy and Richard treat us to something extra special: the happily married couple are celebrating 21 years of wedded bliss together (cue, applause and tears) and they each posted the sweetest tribute ever to their relationship and each other.
In part, Lucy writes, "When the clock struck midnight Richard pulled me close, locked me in his piercing gaze, and asked me to marry him. I said yes in a heartbeat. I was in denim shorts, a t-shirt, slippers. He was in shorts, a shirt, sneakers. The ring was not in a box or pouch, it was just swimming loosely in his pocket for hours the whole evening. Until he pulled it out to slip it on my finger."
And if you think that wasn't sweet enough, Richard had his own thoughts to share about his wife.
"It didn't take too long and I asked her to marry me. It's been 21 years since and it feels like we just got married yesterday," he says.
Juliana, their one and only daughter who turned 18 last year, also took the time to congratulate her mom and dad.

While marriage is truly a gift of its own, it becomes even more special when it's one that remains cared for and nurtured for 21 years and counting.
Lucy and Richard got married on April 28, 2008 at the St. Peter and Paul Parish Church in Ormoc where he is now Mayor.
