The fashion ensemble - We love the beautiful balance in this wedding's fashion aspect. Bride Maiqui was an absolute stunner in her classy and minimalist Alex Perry gown for the ceremony; her groom, Robi, also looked dashing in his Barong Tagalog by Vin Orias of Orias Manila. An equally classic bridal bouquet by Spruce Designs punctuated Maiqui's sleek gown. We also love her choice of bridal footwear, a pair of embellished ankle-strap chunky heels by Jefferson Si; it looks so comfy!Jaja Samaniego & Pearl Studio

The fashion ensemble - For the reception, Maiqui changed into a strapless abaca silk 'Alon' gown, also by Rajo Laurel, and it elegantly showed how the core of a Filipiniana can carry a modern sensibility. Jaja Samaniego & Pearl Studio
The venues and their styling - Robi and Maiqui's wedding ceremony was held at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Isidro Labrador in Pulilan, Bulacan which has a neo-classical architecture. Its interior is intricate with bare stone walls and patterned tiles, so we loved that the aisle's styling only featured simple floral arrangements, the aesthetics and palette of which were echoed in the reception styling at the North Polo Club. And since the wedding was held just a few days after the holiday season, the church still had parol decor that added charm to the occasion. Jaja Samaniego & Pearl Studio
The venues and their styling - One remarkable design element in the church was the black and brown solihiya doors added by Spruce Designs, to ensure a dramatic entrance for the bride. Pat Pastelero Tañedo of Spruce Designs told Metro.Style, 'The church was already beautiful. I especially loved the black and white tile at the center. We simply accented the space with foliage and orchid arrangements along the length of the aisle. The original church entrance had two doors instead of one big main door, and had steps leading up to the main church. It would not have worked well for a bride’s entrance. We designed and built beautiful solihiya doors especially for Robi and Maiqui. The solihiya doors worked perfectly as a clean backdrop for the entourage march down the aisle, as well as, a dramatic reveal for the bride’s entrance.'Jaja Samaniego & Pearl Studio

The venues and their styling - Here's a fun fact about the reception venue, North Polo Club, as Spruce Designs' Pat Pastelero Tañedo shared with Metro.Style: 'Six months ago, the wedding venue did not exist. It was simply a field. Robi’s family pulled out all the stops to build a venue to ensure that all the guests were comfortable and welcomed warmly into their farm home. I had a first look at the venue first week of December and worked on the cocktail and reception design from there.' How cool is it, too, that there was an actual polo match at the venue as the guests were arriving?!Jaja Samaniego & Pearl Studio

The venues and their styling - Robi and Maiqui took the wedding cocktails to an extraordinary level, as they maximized the sprawling field by having several tented food stations. In her IG Stories, Ai dela Cruz shared what Robi told him about the wedding: 'Robi weeks ago: 'Ai, magpapayat ka na, sobrang sarap ng pagkain sa kasal ko.' True enough, cocktails pa lang, panalo na! Super winner yummy food.' The food stations followed the Filipino theme, as the selection included an on-the-spot making of lumpia wrapper, pork belly sisig, and corn & Barako coffee tacos.Jaja Samaniego & Pearl Studio
The venues and their styling - Sharing more details about the amazing pre-dinner happenings, Pat Pastelero Tañedo said, 'The festivities always start with cocktails. I personally love a fantastic cocktail area. It’s the best time for guests to mingle and catch up in a more relaxed atmosphere. We brought in beautiful apex tents, parasols, lounges, rugs, and plants. Cibo brought in an impressive circular bar for the center of the cocktail area, and there were also plenty of cocktails from Manila Craft and sangria wall from Project Vino. After all, what is a cocktail hour without a ton of cocktails?' Jaja Samaniego & Pearl Studio

The venues and their styling - The fun and the visual splendor continued in the reception area, which succeeded in exuding an elegant yet cozy vibe. '[The] key was to create a warm and inviting atmosphere,' Pat Pastelero Tañedo said. 'It was a challenge given we also needed to incorporate a huge dance floor and LED screen for all the performances and program. We put in lot of plants and foliage, and highlighted the ceiling with capiz lanterns. To create an air of festivity, we used bright and tropical blooms for the tables.'Jaja Samaniego & Pearl Studio
The venues and their styling - Overall, Pat emphasized their goal of delivering a memorable experience not just for the couple but also for the guests. She told us, 'We integrated Filipinana elements like solihiya, capiz, rattan, and sourced most blooms locally. We built on those basic design elements and then focused on creating an elegant yet warm and inviting atmosphere.'Adrian Ardiente

The fireworks display during cocktails - The fireworks display at weddings typically happen by the end of the program, to cap off the special day. But Robi and Maiqui put a different spin to this well-loved part, as they opted to do it during cocktails. Jaja Samaniego & Pearl Studio

The cake - The cake is always among the highlights in a wedding, and is usually one of the focal points in the reception venue. Robi and Maiqui turned to the expertise of Honey Glaze Cakes to translate their Filipiniana theme into a masterfully crafted multi-tiered cake with fine rosette detailing and abanico accents. We love the way it stood out in the middle of the reception venue, filled with bright tropical blooms.Jaja Samaniego & Pearl Studio
