Emojis Might Have Just Confirmed Maja Salvador And Rambo Nuñez's Rekindled Romance
In the age of Instagram doubling as the official newsbearer of celebrities for biggest announcements, emojis can speak a thousand words in the absence of a tell-all caption.
And when it comes to vague (intentionally done or otherwise) declarations about one's relationship status with the use of candy-pink twin hearts, the multi-talented Maja Salvador knew exactly how to play with everyone's emotions.
The emoji sent a thousand comments spiraling about the photo it was attached to: a three-part carousel of the dancer, actress, and World of Dance Philippines judge looking sweet as ever with a beau, but not an entirely new one.
She was side by side Rambo Nuñez, a non-showbiz personality, who her most attentive fans will remember as the object of her affection in 2010 when they were briefly an item, but split up for forgotten reasons.
Connect the dots with Maja's Valentine's Day post of a bouquet of passionate red blooms with a note that read "Thanks for being my Valentine again after 9 years," and it's way too tempting to not conclude that these lovebirds have indeed, gotten back together! (And who knows? Maybe for good this time. And yes, the V-Day post was captioned with yet another emoji).
Aside from making her rekindled romance (mostly) Instagram official, Maja thickened the plot by bringing Rambo as her date to fashion designer Patty Ang's wedding held at the Solaire Resort & Casino.
Despite being dressed in matching outfits in dark hues, the two managed to look absolutely radiant, perhaps from the recent admittance of each other's feelings. It definitely helps that Rambo himself has posted not one, but two photos of himself with Maja on his own Instagram page, both of which have earned the approval of both their followers.
Maja's fellow celebs were quick to share their own feelings about the apparent get-together too, with personalities like Dani and Julia Barretto, Heart Evangelista, Agot Isidro, Arci Muñoz, and Ogie Alcasid (who joked about volunteering to be ninong for their hypothetical wedding) leading the chorus of congratulations.
In case you thought Rambo's name was familiar in more ways that one, you might have previously heard him when he was dating Kelsey Merritt, the Fil-Am model and Metro and Metro.Style cover girl making headlines for being the first Pinay to walk the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway.
We're sure the best is yet to come from this (hopefully) newly confirmed couple, which means we'll be on the lookout for more of their posts and public apperances, fingers crossed that the next time they drop hints, they'll reveal more details and won't keep us guessing with a combo of more emojis!
