Daniel Padilla's Sister Magui Glows In Her Star-Studded 18th Birthday Party!

First they're turning a year old. And then they're off to their first day of school and after what feels like only a few winks in time, you're seeing them hit milestone after milestone, and before you know it, the kids have reached 18 years old and aren't exactly kids anymore.

It's a bittersweet experience for many, if not all, mothers just like actress Karla Estrada. She watched her lovely daughter, Magui, charm the room at her 18th birthday held at The Blue Leaf Events Pavilion in Taguig on February 28, Friday, and was all smiles (and a few tears) all throughout the night. 

The birthday girl is Karla's eldest daughter and little sister to heartthrob Daniel Padilla. (The rest of Magui's family were also there, including her father Mike Planas and siblings JC Padilla and Carmella Planas). 

And with Magui's famous family members came a crowd of celebrity guests who made the elegant occasion sparkle even brighter with their star power. Those who were spotted include Julia and Dani Barretto, Leon Barretto, Ria Atayde, Heaven Peralejo, Angelina Cruz, Chie Filomeno, Jackie Forster and son Kobe Paras, Vice Ganda, Vina Morales, Ruffa Gutierrez and her daughters Lorin and Venice, Donita Rose, Jolina Magdangal-Escueta, Melai Cantiveros, and ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes, among many others. Of course, Daniel's partner, Kathryn Bernardo, didn't miss the event!

Sporting a white, off-shoulder dress by Paul Cabral accented with a sweetheart neckline and a crescent pendant, Magui looked fresh yet elegant, youthful yet ladylike. 

She looked stunning, greeting her guests as they arrived at the Gideon Hermosa-decorated debut, and by the time her tiered cake by Yumy.Aco rolled in, Magui was at her happiest, a debutante ready to take on the next chapter of her life, indeed!

As part of the many highlights of her party, Magui enjoyed lots of musical performances, dance numbers, and a very special moment from YouTube personality Justin Vasquez, a singer we've come to know as this 18-year-old's "crush."

The moment was so special, in fact, that a video of Magui and Justin's brief interaction is currently making the rounds online but for a reason you might not have expected. 

After a song number, Justin stepped down from the stage to share a few words (whispered words, as the music was too loud for he and Magui to have a conversation) and a hug, older brother Daniel stood "guard" during the whole thing and appeared to be keeping watch of Magui.

Overall, the party was a lovely way for Magui to say hello to her first taste of adulthood and all the awesome things that come with this new chapter.
