An Insider's Look At Marian Rivera And Dingdong Dantes' “Over The Moon”-Themed Baby Shower
Guests were seeing stars on Sunday as Marian Rivera-Dantes and husband Dingdong Dantes celebrated an “Over the Moon”-themed baby shower at Marquis Events Place in BGC, Taguig. The couple kept the celebration intimate and modest with a guestlist of around 80 people. Complete with dancing DJs wearing panda masks and a live saxophonist, the celebration was lively and jovial.
Clouds hung from the ceiling and a sea of white floral arrangements adorn the venue, styled no less by legendary event stylist Robert Blancaflor.
As Marian made her rounds during the party to greet family, friends and fellow stars, one couldn’t help but notice how stunning and carefree she looked in her lilac empire-beaded dress made of tulle. Other celebrities in attendance were Kyline Alcantara, Jennylyn Mercado, Sheena Halili, and Ai-Ai Delas Alas, just to name a few of the many well-known faces who came to show their love and support. Celebrities were crowded around the Savory Naked Spread by Naked Patisserie in the lobby and satisfied their sweet tooth with the dessert bar by Bizu Catering Studio inside of the ballroom.

One of the most adorable highlights of the afternoon was when Zia Dantes sang for the crowd while Marian sat by her side, radiating with affection toward her daughter during the performance. Guests were also pleased with the menu served by Marquis, with crowd pleasers like BBQ pork ribs and a parmesan wheel station with chefs whipping up fresh pasta on the spot. Among other gifts, guests were given giveaways by Belo and a baby blue crescent moon pillow as they left the "Over the Moon"-themed party with excitement for the upcoming arrival of Marian’s baby boy. The extravaganza was planned and coordinated by renowned event planner Teena Barretto, and to document the occasion was Cocoon Studio, the creative brainchild of Pat Dy and his business partners who are well-known for photographing celebrity events.
Other suppliers include Forsc Ink for the event's technical requirements; Nachofreeto, Mrchurrosph, and Cheesecakestix for the food carts; Instamug and Goodbagph for the party favors; Dragon Fireworks for the special effects; Saxybeast and Naughty Pandas for the music; and Supersizedph for the kids' area.
Overall, the vibe of the afternoon was relaxed, entertaining, and cheerful as Marian and Dingdong’s closest friends and family gathered to celebrate the arrival of their bundle of joy.
