International artist MAX was in Manila for a string of mall shows and a guesting on Sunday musical variety show ASAP Natin 'To. What made his ASAP appearance more special was that his performance included a duet with Alexa Ilacad; the two shared the stage, entertaining audiences with their version of his viral bop 'STUPID IN LOVE' which originally features LE SSERAFIM's Huh Yunjin.

Alexa happens to have long red hair, too, like Huh Yunjin. Giving Alexa a high five for their performance, MAX said and pointed out the resemblance, "Alexa! Queen! And she's got the red hair too! Everybody's slaying the red hair." On Instagram, MAX also commented on a post by Alexa, writing, "Such a pleasure to perform with you today. You killed it."

After their performance, MAX told the audience, "Mahal kita, all of my Filipino fans. I'm so honored. Incredible to be here. Thank you for listening, thank you for streaming, and just thank you for all the love on my new album, Love in Stereo. I appreciate you." Love in Stereo, which features 12 tracks, is MAX's third album.

Later that day, Alexa supported MAX by watching his show in One Ayala with KD Estrada.

MAX had mall shows last April 5, 6, and 7 at UP Town Center, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, and One Ayala, respectively. MAX’s last visit in the Philippines was way back in 2016. In an interview with Metro.Style, MAX shared that the Filipino dish he got to try during this visit was pork sinigang and that they ate at a restaurant with singing cooks and waiters.

MAX, a multi-platinum Warner recording artist, has collaborated with several global artists including BTS' Suga for "Blueberry Eyes," keshi for "It's You," Ali Gatie for "Butterflies," and JVKE and Bazzi for "Strings." This actor/singer is a songwriter, too, and has penned songs for other artists, like "Yet to Come" by BTS.
