WATCH: McCoy De Leon And Elisse Joson Star In Metro Magazine's Fashion Film, Shot In The Manila Central Post Office
Our annual Philippine Issue is our love letter to Manila. Our multi-cover special features four of the country’s favorite love teams wearing garments by #Metrowear designers around some of the city’s oldest landmarks. Our first couple, #McLisse, explored the ins and outs of a major hub of Manila life in the early 20th century, the Manila Central Post Office. Reminiscent of images from a previous time, #ElisseJoson wore gowns by #VaniaRomoff while #McCoyDeLeon wore suits by #FrancisLibiran, as they watched the sunset from the steps of the neoclassical structure. #MetroLovesMcLisse Grab a copy of our #MetroJune2018 issue, as we celebrate the fashion and culture coming out of the Philippines! Bathed by the warm glow of the sunset, the love team known as #McLisse composed of McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson brought their own brand of romantic magic to the beautiful neoclassical architecture of the Manila Post Office. "It was a magical experience for me, almost like a fairytale," Elisse sighs. "The building was so beautiful, I felt like I was transported somewhere back in time."
McCoy also commented on the beauty of the historic structure on Liwasang Bonifacio. "Ang ganda pala niya sa loob. It was the first time I actually went inside, but I would pass by it all the time when I went to Mapua, my school." This was the cue for Elisse to start teasing him, saying that while she thought of bygone eras, he was thinking of school.
This exchange would illustrate the dynamics between the two young stars. They like to tease each other a lot. This makes work fun for them and makes them look forward to seeing each other again.
