Meet The New Beauty Queens—Catriona Gray Is Miss Universe Philippines 2018
This year's Binibining Pilipinas was a tough competition. Many candidates were standouts not just for their stunning faces and beautiful bodies but also for their talent, personality, and confidence. As Ces Oreña-Drilon, ABS-CBN Lifestyle Ecosystem Head and one of the judges for Binibining Pilipinas 2018, captioned the Instagram photo of the newly-crowned beauty queens, "What a night!!! And what a tough job we had."
Although there were early favorites, like model and Miss World Philippines 2016 Catriona Gray, volleyball player and TV personality Michele Gumabao, and Star Magic artist and Pinoy Big Brother alum Vickie Rushton, several more candidates showed a lot of promise and impressed throughout the competition.

In the end, out of 40 candidates, six confidently beautiful winners were named and awarded with their respective beauty titles, and will represent the Philippines in the upcoming international pageants. The coronation night happened at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last night, March 18.

The beauty titleholders each won one year ambassadorship contract from Cream Silk, P500,000 worth of management contract from Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. P500,000 worth of Dairy Queen endorsement contract that includes a TV commercial feature, complete set of wardrobe from Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc., full scholarship training from Dale Carnegie, 18 months of free salon services from David’s Salon, 18 months of free membership from Gold’s Gym, a personal accident insurance from Charter Ping An, and P25,000 cash plus P25,000 worth of products from Ever Bilena. Miss Universe – Philippines also got P500,000 Pizza Hut endorsement contract, including a nationwide TV commercial feature.
