Metro Cover Girl Lovi Poe Is Now a Kapamilya!
The multifaceted artist has joined ABS-CBN's roster of stars
The guessing game is over! Showbiz royalty and multifaceted artist Lovi Poe is the newest Kapamilya!
Today, September 16, Lovi Poe officially joined ABS-CBN with a contract signing ceremony attended by the network's executives: ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO of broadcast Cory Vidanes, group CFO Rick Tan, and Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal. Also present at the event was Lovi's talent manager Leo Dominguez.
Making things more exciting is the news that she is set to star in a drama series opposite local showbiz's ultimate heartthrob, Piolo Pascual. This will mark Lovi's second project with ABS-CBN, after her 2020 iWantTFC original movie Malaya that earned her a Best Actress nomination from Gawad Urian.
Lovi isn't only an award-winning actress, she's also a recording artist, a digital star with over 11 million social media followers, and a style icon. In 2018, she was named Metro's Most Stylish, a title she continues to live up to till today. She was also a part of Metro's 30th anniversary special in 2019 that featured her alongside 29 other cover girls of the magazine through the years.
After launching a recording career in the US this year, she is also set to star in her first Hollywood movie alongside British stars Alex Pettyfer and Poppy Delevingne via the biopic The Chelsea Cowboy where she is playing English singer and icon Dana Gillespie.
Welcome to ABS-CBN, Lovi!
