And at the same time, nagkaroon din ng opportunities. So dalawa lang naman ‘yung options nu’n. It’s either sumuko ka o lalaban. Pero sabi ko, we’ll just have to take it a day at a time, and for as long as clear naman ‘yung intentions at nagagawa mo pa rin nang tama at hindi nagsa-suffer ‘yung quality time with family, then okay ka. Okay pa ako. So ganu’n naman ang nangyari.”

Pero sabi ko nga, okay lang kahit maging busy, basta at least ‘yung mga tao sa paligid namin, kapag may nire-request ako na: ‘Uy, ‘yung anak ko, magpe-perform. Baka puwedeng ganitong call time?’ Naaayos naman siya. So ‘yun lang—kahit maging busy ako, basta kailangan ako ng anak ko sa school, kailangan mabigay ko ‘yun. ‘Yun lang ‘yung request ko, which is nangyari naman.”

And thankful ako sa mga taong naging parte ng buhay ko—my family, my Star Magic family, my manager (Ms. Love Capulong) who’s been there all these years. Hindi ko naman kakayanin mag-isa, e. You have to have the people surrounding you to make it a successful life.”
