Happy holidays!
The holiday season has always served as a quality time with our loved ones and, for some, an opportunity to reconnect with oneself.
It's the best time to go on a vacation and take a break, to gear up for another year. 2019 marks the end of a decade, too, making Christmas and New Year this year doubly special.
Recently, we celebrated Metro's 30th anniversary by launching 30 covers featuring the magazine's past cover girls. Now, we're putting the spotlight on them once again, and see how they're spending this festive season.

Judy Santos-Agoncillo
"I am beyond grateful," Judy Ann says about how year 2019 has been for her. She was especially in a celebratory mood this holiday season because her Brillante Mendoza-directed movie, "Mindanao," received 11 awards at the recently-concluded Metro Manila Film Festival, including Best Actress (awarded to her), Best Actor (Allen Dizon), Best Picture, Best Director, Best Visual Effects, and Best Float. The movie also won for Judy Ann the Best Actress award at the 41st Cairo International Film Festival. To celebrate this achievement with her family, they had a staycation.

Lucy Torres-Gomez
It's quality time with loved ones for Lucy. With her husband Richard and daughter Juliana by her side, Lucy clearly couldn't ask for anything more. An annual Christmas dinner with their Bench family also made Christmas more memorable.

Dawn Zulueta
Dawn always has two reasons to celebrate Christmas. First, of course, is the birth of Jesus Christ. Next is her and husband Antonio Lagdameo Jr.'s wedding anniversary. It's their 22nd this year! "I'm so thankful we survived. I'm certain no one else could've put up with your shenanigans and my awesomeness," Dawn captions their wedding photo in jest.

Claudine and her kids threw an awesome Christmas party that was truly over-the-top (there was even an inflatable playground set up and a number of food carts!). The party seems to have been a request by her kids Sab and Saint.

After spending Christmas at home with her family, Tweetie is now vacationing in Bali. So far on her itinerary is an interesting look at the making of the traditional batik textile of Indonesia as well as a food stop at Da Maria modern Italian restaurant.

Ruffa Gutierrez
"We were having too much fun and enjoying the moment that we forgot to take a family photo - as usual... We played games, gave away raffle prizes, laughed, shared stories & exchanged gifts" was the caption that accompanied photos and videos from their family's annual Christmas party. Now, Ruffa is in Los Angeles, California and is enjoying the holiday rush in Hollywood.

Angel reunited with her former F! co-hosts Daphne Osena-Paex and Cher Calvin. It's been 10 years since they last saw each other, but despite all those times they were apart, it's evident their friendship remains. "We were tired, we were hungry, but we were unstoppably happy. It's been a decade since we last got together and if everything works out, we might not have to wait another 10 years to see one another again! It's a milestone the 3 of us have been waiting for," Angel shares on Instagram. It seems this dinner is more than just a reunion, we certainly hope these inspiring women are cooking up an exciting project.

Christmas for the Muhlach family this year has been all about promoting Aga's movie, "Miracle in Cell No. 7," the remake of the Korean comedy/drama that's an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2019. The movie may not have won any award at MMFF but it has been receiving great reviews. Of the movie, Charlene says, "So much positivity, love, inspiration, happiness, laughter & tears in one film."

Christmas is incomplete without family, and Bea cannot agree more. She spent the merriest time of the year with what she describes as "mga taong nagpapaligaya ng buhay ko." Bea is now on vacation, visiting Paris and Berlin. A new adventure awaits this jet setter.

It appears that Erich is on some kind of social media detox as it has been three weeks since she updated her Instagram feed, and it's nice to tune out the noise in social media once in a while. It's been a busy holiday season for Maricar. The actress and entrepreneur whose business is Maricar's Chocolate Cakes has been catering to so many clients who cannot get enough of her delectable Chocolate Cake. Despite her busy schedule, she even got to share a vlog on "Emergency Glam Hairstyle," which proves to be useful especially during this time when parties are endless.
