The second love team is ElNella: Elmo Magalona and Janella Salvador. Two years ago, Elmo and Janella starred in the teleserye Born for You, the start of the string of projects that featured the ElNella love team. Some scenes of the said TV show were shot in Japan, and although they didn't get the chance to talk to each other that much on the way to their shoot's location, they came home from it closer and more relaxed in each other's company. Eventually, they discovered they are similar in more ways than one. And as they spend more and more time together, they help each other grow and become better individuals.
Elmo: “We found out na foodie kami pareho and we are both animal lovers."
Janella: “Music binds us together, but our tastes are super different. I like that, because we get to share things that are new to us. We give recommendations, and we both get exposed to artists and songs we would not ordinarily have listened to.”
Elmo: “She really loves old music, and she is a very old soul in this way. Because of her, I get to listen to more Frank Sinatra, The Carpenters, Chicago, and Earth, Wind, and Fire!”
Janella: “Because of my usual playlist, I don’t get to listen to the new stuff that comes out. He listens to rap and hip-hop, and minsan alam ko na 'yung mga lyrics from listening to them all the time, because we are always together!”
Here, Elmo and Janella step back into time and relive the beauty of the old churches of Manila: San Sebastian and Paco Church.

“I get to travel around the world for work, but there is really something different about the people here. It is their warmth and hospitality that you cannot feel anywhere else. It is in Manila, and in our country in general, where you can find people who are genuinely helpful and friendly” - Elmo
“I could imagine living in the past and seeing everything that happened there. I love that we get to put importance on our history and culture. That is what I love most about Manila, there is a mix of old and new, and it is a reminder to us to take care of our heritage” - Janella
