Metro.Style Gives Isabelle Daza A 30th Birthday Surprise!
The early days of summer are proving to be an exceptionally happy time for "It" Girl and mom-to-be Isabelle Daza.
She's not only patiently waiting to meet her first baby when she gives birth to him or her in April, but she also celebrated her 30th birthday yesterday, March 6.
A few days prior to her birthday, Metro.Style caught up with Isabelle to talk about the exciting new chapter in her life, and we took that as an opportunity to greet her a happy birthday and give her a simple treat.
As she was being interviewed, the shoot team, along with her yaya and one of her handlers, brought out an elegant bucket of pink roses and a two-tiered white, black, and pink cake with gold accents to give to her.
The sun-kissed beauty reveals what transitioning from her 20s to her 30s has been like in an exclusive interview, teasingly saying, "I didn't make any special plans because I didn't want to make a big fuss of it. I'm just going to hide."
Joking aside and shifting to a more sincere tone, the model and actress acknowledges that now that she's entering a more mature phase of her life that bestows her with more responsibilities, she's shifted her gaze to more family-centric priorities. Rather than celebrate her own birthday, for instance, she'd rather concentrate on putting together a beautiful baby shower at the end of the month.
"I'm turning 30, I'm not 29 anymore. I'm 30. What have I done in my life? Definitely I'm checking the things in my life that I wanted to accomplish," she continues, while echoing the sentiments of other women going through the same experience.
As Isabelle mused over her life, and much to her surprise, her family and friends threw her an unexpected weekend treat before her birthday: a pampering party sponsored by La Mer, complete with relaxing facials, games, matching jammies, and lovely beauty and skincare products every girl would love to add to her vanity.
But for this Metro digital cover girl who admits to being a "what you see is what you get" type of woman, her 30th birthday has put two things in the spotlight for her, two blessings she's sure to keep with her for the rest of her birthdays to come: motherhood, and of course, having her perfect match in Adrien to help her through the experience and many others to come.
