In her intricate, figure-hugging, custom Furne One - Amato gown at the recent ABS-CBN Ball, Maymay Entrata was like a graceful swan. Gorgeous and statuesque, she was inarguably a standout, and was deemed one of the best-dressed female stars of the night—a recognition she deserves. For the after-party, she changed into another beautiful Furne One masterpiece with a dainty, frilly skirt and sheer cape. Last year, she also stole the spotlight at the Star Magic Ball in her sparkly Mark Bumgarner ball gown.

She's worn creations by the likes of Mark Bumgarner, Martin Bautista, Neric Beltran, Mak Tumang, Jazel Sy, Robert Ortega, and Liza Padilla, and easily adjusts to whatever an occasion's fashion moodboard calls for.

The past two years for this Pinoy Big Brother Big Winner have been filled with victories both big and small. The well of opportunities for Maymay seems bottomless; she's always had something to celebrate—be it a new magazine cover feature, a new endorsement deal, or a new onscreen project. She is, no doubt, in-demand. But up to now, it still feels surreal for her. “Hanggang ngayon, hindi ko pa rin fully matanggap. Parang mabilis lahat ng pangyayari,” she says. “Hindi pa rin ako nakakapaniwala. Feeling ko nasa panaginip pa rin ako.”

After starring in a movie called Loving in Tandem with partner Edward Barber, launching a multi-awarded self-titled album, performing at her very own sold-out concert, there's one more aspect to this artist's career that she'd like to explore: "Ngayon, siguro gusto ko po ma-experience mag-model at mag-fashion show.” Even that, she's done several times, too!
But clearly, you can trust Maymay to always level up her game. What could be next for her? There were rumors of her joining Asia's Next Top Model, with top model and America’s Next Top Model host and producer Tyra Banks expressing her admiration for the young Pinay star on several occasions. Although that didn't turn out to be true, she didn't dismiss the possibility of a similar career milestone happening for her in the near future. She says, “Sorry po! Kahit gustung-gusto ko rumampa, ‘di pa talaga!" For her thousands of fans, this statement is enough for them to keep rooting for their idol.

"Ang pinaka-ayaw ko talaga is ’yung hindi ako totoo sa sarili ko, ’yung parang peke ka," Maymay shares. "Kapag hindi ako totoo sa sarili ko, nag-iiba talaga pakiramdam ko, parang hindi lumalabas boses ko. Ayoko talaga.”

Maymay is the latest cover girl of Metro, headlining the magazine’s “Hotlist Issue” which rounds up everything that topped the charts this past year. Her fashion spreads showcase her versatility as a celebrity muse. She rocked outfits from the casual denim to the edgy leather to the classic LBD. In the photo shoot, she’s seen posing with paint brushes and other art-related props that are reflective of her as an artist in the context of showbiz.
And what a fitting concept it is! A multi-talented lady, Maymay is ultimately the artist of her life, too! And with every move or stroke, she is painting her future with vivid images depicting love, friendship, success, and happiness.
