All The Celebrities And Personalities Who Graced #Metrowear2018 Featuring Vania Romoff

#Metrowear2018 was an explosion of beautiful silhouettes, feminine allure, and modern elegance. Stars, celebrities, and society personalities flocked the new The Fifth at Rockwell in support of this year’s Metrowear Icon, Vania Romoff.

Metro magazine’s Metrowear event has been celebrating Filipino designers and local talent year after year, highlighting the best of the best in the fashion industry. And this year, the event, yet again, witnessed an astounding array of personalities and outfits that celebrate beauty, creativity, and Filipino talent.

This year’s Icon, Vania Romoff, is the youngest Filipino designer to ever take the Metrowear stage. It’s the fulfillment of her silent wish years ago when she first attended Cary Santiago’s Metrowear show in 2010 and aimed to make it to the same stage. Indeed, Vania has toiled, and worked, and dreamed to make it to where she is now, and the support that poured for the 30-year-old Cebu-born designer speaks tons of her influence and reputation in the fashion scene.

Spotted at the Metrowear event were some of Vania’s muses throughout the years, including Janine Gutierrez, Jess Wilson, Mari Jasmine, and Steph Kienle-Gonzalez. These beautiful women embody what Vania defines as her modern muse: a woman who is empowered, a woman of the world, and a woman who's always inspired.

The muses showcased their grace and sophisticated beauty on the red carpet, donning signature Vania Romoff pieces that highlight the genius use of bows and soft ruffles to communicate modern and feminine style sensibilities.

Apart from the Vania Romoff creations that wowed on the red carpet, the highlights of the event, of course, were the new pieces that Vania debuted on the Metrowear runway.

Vania has prepared more than 60 pieces for her solo fashion show—a no easy feat—each highlighting her signature finesse and romantic elegance. From casual tulle dresses that seem to float and bounce on the catwalk to majestic long gowns that were elegant and grand, Vania’s Metrowear collection really spoke of the depth and the elegance of Vania's craft.
