It was a retro rave for Miel Pangilinan’s 18th birthday bash last September 2, 2022 at The Blue Leaf.

Her disco-themed debut was all about 70s glitz and glamour—all complete with colorful arcs, sparkle balls, and bright flower arrangements that adorned the festivities.

Miel’s family was also in full force as they graced the function with their equally eye-catching ensembles, sporting patterns and styles that are fresh from the fab era.

Miel’s ensemble, on the other hand, was an ornate creation embellished with Swarovski crystals. Her family, including her father Kiko Pangilinan, Megastar mom Sharon Cuneta, sisters KC Concepcion and Frankie Pangilinan, and brother Miguel Pangilinan showed their best support for Miel. The whole family wore custom pieces by fashion designer Jot Losa.

In her Instagram post, Sharon Cuneta penned a long, touching letter for her dear daughter Miel. The caption reads: “Happy 18th Birthday to my youngest baby girl, my third princess, Mariel Daniella Sophia. Miel, you look like me, even sound like me, are like me and so unlike me in very many different ways! I am proud of the woman you have become and of the courage you have managed to gather and display to the world. Of course, I will always miss the little girl whose world was her Mama and was always dikit to her, but as long as I know that you love me, all’s alright in my world, no matter what bad things life has and continues to throw my way every so often. I love you with all my heart. Happy 18th, Yeyie! Mama will love you forever and ever.”
