Moira’s Concert At The Big Dome Was Full Of “Hugot” Songs

Last February 3, 2023, Moira Dela Torre served up some warm songs that sure pierced through the heart of the audience. Held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, the sold-out concert was a huge hit among her fans as the tracks’ lyrics resonated pain, heartache, and forlorn romance.



It seems that there is no stopping Moira from stirring the emotions of the concertgoers as she kicked off the show with no holds barred. Starting off with “Paubaya, the singer earned a collective cheer from the crowd as the lines “Saan nagsimulang magbago ang lahat? Kailan no'ng ako’y ’di na naging sapat? Ba’t ’di mo sinabi no’ng una pa lang? Ako ang kailangan, pero ’di ang mahal” filled the air. The song also bagged Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year at the latest PMPC Star Awards for Music.






Apart from her quintessential breakup tunes, the hitmaker also performed a revised version of “Tagpuan, a collaborative brainchild with her ex-husband Jason Marvin Hernandez, who admitted in he had been 'unfaithful' to Moira. In May of last year, the former couple finally confirmed their split.




Guest acts Chito Miranda of Parokya ni Edgar and Ice Seguerra also graced the Big Dome stage to deliver a riveting performance. Presented by Cornerstone Entertainment, Inc. and directed by John Prats, The recently-concluded event served as a drumroll to “Moira Tour 2023” in the US, Canada, and the Middle East. The music artist’s first-ever world tour will is slated to run from February 10 to April 1.

Despite the turbulence in her personal life, Moira continues to amass recognition, winning Album of the Year and Female Recording Artist of the Year for her single “Patawad” at the 13th PMPC Star Awards for Music.
