Never Not Love Them: JaDine Continues To Sizzle As Their Latest Movie's Official Trailer Is Released
If there’s a love team today that’s banking on authenticity so well, it is none other than JaDine or #TeamReal, the on- and off-screen pairing of multimedia princess Nadine Lustre and multitalented heartthrob James Reid.
The two have been a romantic couple for more than two years now, while their onscreen love team has stayed strong for four years. Together, they top billed hit movies like Diary ng Panget The Movie, Talk Back and You’re Dead, Para sa Hopeless Romantic, and This Time as well as top-rating TV shows On the Wings of Love and Till I Met You.
In the recent Folded&Hung summer campaign photo shoot and press dinner, Nadine and James talked not just about the clothing brand’s Spring/Summer 2018 campaign, but also about how their real-life romance has allowed them to grow as individuals.
"We're growing so much in our relationship, and that's the best thing about it. We get through a lot of things, but then at the end of the day, we grow from it and learn a lot from it," Nadine said.
Meanwhile, James shared how his girlfriend inspired him, saying, “Nadine and I are really driven people. I wasn’t like this before. Now, I’m a very driven person. There’s so much I want to achieve and there’s so much I want to get done."
With the opportunities they've been getting, JaDine is motivated to work harder on their multifaceted careers. Recently, they had a sold-out concert at The Big Dome dubbed “rEVOLution: The JaDine Concert." The concert showcased their versatility as performers.
His urban and R&B music is sexy, catchy, and absolutely inspired. After winning the Best Southeast Asia Act Award at the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards, James is also named as one of the artists with the most number of nominations in the highly-anticipated MYX Music Awards 2018 happening in May. The music video for his hit song “The Life," directed by Petersen Vargas and girlfriend Nadine, has been nominated for the Music Video of the Year category of this year’s MYX Music Awards, while "Cool Down" is nominated for Song of the Year. These nominations easily made him one of the nominees for Male Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year.
When it comes to music career, Nadine is not far behind. With her equally sensual and modern sound, it is no surprise that the music video for her hit single "St4y Up," for which she serves as executive producer, has now gained more than 1.2M views as of this writing.
“You want this person to stay up with you. Parang ganu'n. ‘Yun ang concept niya talaga,” Nadine said. “I co-wrote it with James." Nadine is currently working on an album under Careless Music Manila.
Her sultry yet classy dance moves in her recent music video and their recent concert have showed that Nadine has, indeed, grown into a woman who’s not afraid to embrace her mature, sensual side.
Such maturity can certainly be seen in JaDine's upcoming movie Never Not Love You. Written and directed by award-winning rom-com director Antoinette Jadaone, the movie tells the story of tattoo artist Gio and country lass Joanne, who fall in love with each other and are later faced with challenges that come with pursuing their individual careers.
“I can definitely say that this one is more mature,” James shared.
“The movie is about young, reckless love. The movie will take us to the story of Joanne and Gio and how they cope with long distance relationship and the changes in their careers," Nadine said. “There’s more intimacy in our characters. Hindi naman daring in a way na may skin, but I guess daring in a way that he’s riding a motorcycle in this film, the characters are willing to do everything just to be together. I play the role of Joanne. She is from Iba, Zambales. We have a lot of scenes by the lake.”
Last March 15, the official trailer of Never Not Love You was released, showing intimate scenes between the on- and off-screen couple as well as intense confrontation scenes that make the movie truly interesting and intriguing.
Never Not Love You is JaDine’s comeback movie since their last blockbuster film This Time in 2016. James is also slated to star with Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo on the Filipino adaptation of South Korean comedy-drama film Miss Granny, which requires him to be fit and buff.
“We don’t have time (for TV projects soon). I have to go back to the gym to be fit for another movie. Hopefully, I am gonna be fit and in shape for the movie,” he said.
Never Not Love You will be showing in cinemas nationwide on March 31. JaDine for Folded&Hung summer collection campaign will be launched soon as well, while the two go on tour around the country for their concert.
