Nikki Valdez-Garcia's Hong Kong Wedding Is So Dreamy—Check Out Never-Before-Seen Snaps From The Nuptials
When it comes to love, Nikki Valdez and Luis Garcia prove that sometimes, a second chance is what it takes to find happily ever after.
After three years of being a couple, singer and actress Nikki Valdez and Luis Garcia formalized their union in a private ceremony held in Hong Kong. Inviting only their closest friends and family to the destination wedding, Nikki and Luis looked a hundred percent fulfilled to be sharing the personal milestone with those they loved the most.
Taking advantage of the cosmopolitan city's mild weather, the guests and the newlyweds looked absolutely charming in airy white and pastel ensembles. The bride herself donned a lightly embellished dress in blush featuring dainty butterfly sleeves by Rajo Laurel, while the groom matched her in a sharp light gray and suit and pink button-down. (Also worth noting is Nikki's choice to wear a fascinator instead of a traditional veil!). When it came to hair and makeup, Nikki opted for a sheer finish to let her natural radiance shine through.
On the other hand, Manila-based photo studio Nice Print Photography captured the wedding's most touching moments as they unfolded, giving Nikki and Luis many memories to look back on over the years. An image of Nikki's 10-year-old daughter Olivia unable to contain her emotions as she watched her mom and stepdad tie the knot became an instant favorite of the couple and guests alike.

The visual story behind Nikki's meaningful bouquet, created by event stylist/florist Gideon Hermosa, was also told in photos; not only did it boast of fragrant fresh blooms to match her wedding's theme, it also contained a locket and chain with a photo of Nikki's late father.
In an Instagram post of the special detail, she wrote, "My Dad loved Luis so much when he was still alive. He would often ask me if Luis was coming over to visit me in the house from work and when he did, he made sure to be the one to open the door and meet him and pinagtitimpla niya pa ng kape pag merienda time so I made sure that he still walked me down the aisle."
Still ecstatic after their "I dos" at the altar, the couple moved their party to Italian restaurant and bar Spasso that overlooked Hong Kong's famous Victoria Harbour. Still in keeping with their theme of light and fresh colors, their reception reflected the event's mood perfectly.
Overall, the wedding was the best way that Nikki and Luis could have expressed their commitment to each other. Having been married in the past, Nikki didn't hold back with the words she chose to express her happiness about being given a second chance at love: "Cannot ask for anything more. ?????? I love you, Jesus. Thank you for giving me the best day of my life."
Nikki and Luis got engaged last December during a holiday trip to Vigan, Ilocos Sur.
