This "Oppafied" Planner Is Made For K-Drama Fans

These planners, journals, and calendars, featuring 24 of the most well-loved K-drama oppas today, will inspire productivity

“Fangirling is therapeutic”一Park So-dam’s Ahn Jeong-ha said it herself in K-Drama Record of Youth. Watching K-Dramas has become a stress reliever and a favorite pastime of many, especially during the pandemic when more people discovered and got hooked on these shows and the “oppas” and “unnies” in them.

The so-called “new normal” has also made people much more digital-savvy, as they’ve had to adapt to work-from-home setups. But there’s no denying that having a tangible planner, journal, and calendar in this day and age still has its charm.

For best friends Raven Leonardo and Charlotte Tsai, the pandemic sparked creativity, and they found themselves combining their love for planners and K-Dramas into a fun business made for fangirls/fanboys.

Introducing the Oppa Planner, a business that was born during the peak of the COVID-related lockdowns.

“Quarantine made us so intensely addicted to K-Drama that we were literally obsessing over any kind of merch we would see. We’re avid planner collectors and we couldn’t find any K-Drama-themed or oppa-themed planner so we told ourselves, ‘Why not make one?’ It’s also expensive to spend so much money on every oppa ’cause we couldn't choose between all of them, so we thought of combining them in one planner to experience the ‘kilig’ altogether. This is also our first time to do a business and we’re so happy that we’re marketing our oppa loves,” say Raven and Charlotte, who are both marketing and advertising graduates from De La Salle University and have been best friends for seven years.

Oppa Planner is their side job, with Raven being a former ABS-CBN employee and currently working for his family’s business and Charlotte taking on the role of marketing and programs officer for a beverage company.

With their products, they invite their fellow K-drama lovers to take their fangirling/fanboying to the next level, and to inspire more productivity whether they’re still on a WFH setup or already back in the office setting.

Their planners, made with a soft leather cover, come in two colors: Flamingo and Periwinkle. Their journal, which has a leather fabric cover, is available in Aquamarine. Both feature two oppas per month (that’s a total of 24 eye candies for you!). They also have a book magnetic lock, back pouch, ribbon marker, and magnetic hardbound case. Merch collectors know the thrill of seeing freebies, so Oppa Planner wanted to give their clients that experience by adding two sticker sheets, two postcards, and one random photocard of a featured oppa.

The oppas featured by the Oppa Planner are Song Kang (Nevertheless), Lee Do Hyun (Youth of May), Park Hyung Sik (Happiness), Park Seo Joon (Itaewon Class), Lee Joon Gi (Flower of Evil), Kang Ha Neul (When the Camellia Blooms), Nam Joo Hyuk (Start-Up), Kim Seon Ho (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha), Hwang In Yeop (True Beauty), Cha Eun Woo (True Beauty), Ryu Jun Yeol (Lost), Park Bo Gum (Record of Youth), Lee Seung Gi (Mouse), Ji Chang Wook (Lovestruck in the City), Lee Jong Suk (Romance Is a Bonus Book), Jung Hae In (D.P.), Song Joong Ki (Vincenzo), Hyun Bin (Crash Landing on You), Lee Dong Wook (Tale of the Nine-Tailed), Gong Yoo (Gaurdian: The Lonely and Great God), Kim Bum (Law School), Kim Soo Hyun (It's Okay to Not Be Okay), Woo Do Hwan (Tempted), and Lee Min Ho (The King: Eternal Monarch).

The planner and journal are priced at P799 each. Oppa Planner also has a desk calendar that may be ordered separately at P399.
