People Are Seriously Fixated On These Body Parts Of Kendall Jenner, And The Reason Is Not What You Would Expect
They can't look away from her toes. And they're also using them to body shame her.
Kendall Jenner is keeping mum after being hit with an unexpected tidal wave of backlash when she posted two photos of herself on Instagram from a shoot with renowned photographer Sasha Samsonova. The black and white images show the top model completely nude, save for her hands that barely covered her chest and strategically positioned legs that left but a few things to the imagination.
While most expected comments to be about other elements of the photos—or the fact that Kendall bared it all for the world to see—many chose to focus on her feet and toes. On the comment section and on Twitter, thousands pointed out their "odd" proportions and supposed mismatch in size, with some even going to the extent of telling Kendall that the sight of them completely ruined her image as a flawless beauty.
On the other hand, Kendall's fans were quick to come to her defense. They encouraged the reality TV star to keep her head high amidst the "shallow" and "petty" insults while quickly calling out offenders for fueling the problem of body shaming.
For those more familiar with Kendall's younger years, they know that body shaming and shaky self-confidence have always been sensitive issues for the 22-year-old.
Opening up about her body image struggles in the past, Kendall has described that, as a teenager, she struggled with skin problems and occasionally dealt with adult acne that would cause her confidence to plummet. The most recent example is the close-up photos of the world-famous star taken at the 2018 Golden Globes which showed her wearing thick makeup to conceal imperfections on her face. Those who saw the images ridiculed her for being "imperfect."

The size zero model also once struggled with weight in her younger years, saying that it was hard for her to imagine boys being attracted to her because of an "unideal" body—a far cry from the stunner she is today!
Years after Kendall decided to overcome her insecurities—essentially becoming a role model for young women with big dreams of their own—she's dealing with a new wave of body shaming.
But now that she's grown into a stronger, more mature woman who's been there and done that, and has certainly learned from the wisdom of her many experiences, we're sure that she's more than capable of handling herself with grace amidst the harsh criticisms. In fact, she may be doing the best thing anyone can do in a situation like this: staying silent, ignoring the haters, and just continuing to shine.
