Rachelle Ann Go Just Made A New Hollywood Friend—Benedict Cumberbatch!
The famous actors casually posed side by side for the camera, much to the delight of Filipinos everywhere!
Being a worldwide theater phenomenon truly has its perks.
For Rachelle Ann Go—a Filipino stage actress who broke into the scene after her beautiful portrayals of Ariel in The Little Mermaid (2011), Gigi Van Tranh in Miss Saigon (2012) and Fantine in Les Miserables (2016)—one of these majorly enviable benefits is getting to meet her silver screen idols and sharing lighthearted conversation with them, sans tons of security and paparazzi all around.
Most recently, Rachelle's talents have brought her to West End where she's currently the face of Hamilton's Eliza Schuyler. There, after one of her performances, no other than Benedict Cumberbatch went backstage to mingle with the cast.

EXCLUSIVE: Who Is Martin Spies? Get To Know The Man That Rachelle Ann Go Just Married!
Needless to say, Metro Weddings cover girl Rachelle excitedly took the opportunity to snap a (possibly) once-in-a-lifetime photo with the revered English actor while successfully keeping her enthusiasm well-contained. Sporting a simple white t-shirt, khakis, and a classic newsboy cap, Benedict happily obliged to her request and even put a friendly arm around her shoulder to make the encounter a hundred times more memorable.
While the moment definitely had Rachelle's fans in a tizzy, it's best to remember that she's already met two of Hollywood's brightest stars in the past, again after a couple of her shows. Lucky for her, she's had the pleasure of exchanging pleasantries and smiles with Emma Stone and Keira Knightley, too!
Judging from Rachelle's awesome chance encounters with these famous faces, it seems one of the best ways to make Hollywood acquaintances is to become a successful theater actress!
Now, where's that script? Time to head out to auditions!
