Richard Gutierrez Eyes Working With These Actors
After signing anew with ABS-CBN and Star Magic, “The Iron Heart” star Richard Gutierrez is ready to take on new projects and collaborate with top Kapamilya artists
After the finale of the action-packed TV series The Iron Heart, Richard Gutierrez’s dream continues to live on as he signed anew with ABS-CBN and Star Magic. Last October 26, the Kapamilya actor inked a new contract with the network via an event titled “Solid Kapamilya.”
“I don’t know where to begin, to be honest. It’s such a big moment and I’m just very happy to be here right now,” the Metro Man cover star opened as the network contract signing started. “I’m very thankful and grateful for this blessing. I’m happy to be a Kapamilya for many more years to come.”
In attendance to the exclusive affair were ABS-CBN Chairman Mark Lopez, ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO of Broadcast Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN Head of TV Production and Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi, and ABS-CBN CFO Rick Tan. Richard’s manager Love Capulong and his mother Annabelle Rama were also present to support him.
“I would like to thank, first and foremost, the Kapamilyas all over the world. If it’s not for you, I wouldn’t be here right now. Salamat sa lahat ng mga taong sumusuporta sa akin [at] sa Kapamilya network,” Richard continued, owing a huge portion of his triumph and his show’s achievements to his fans and worldwide audiences.
He said, “Ginagawa po namin ito para sa inyo at gusto ko rin siyempreng pasalamatan ang lahat ng mga nakatrabaho ko—from all the directors, producers, writers, co-actors, and everyone—sa lahat ng production [staff] na nakatrabaho ko. Maraming-maraming salamat. Dahil sa inyo, narating ko kung nasaan man ako ngayon.”
As he savors his success, Richard does not forget his roots and the people behind him who guided his path along rough and bumpy roads. Richard added, “Of course, I would like to thank ABS-CBN for giving me this opportunity, for trusting me once again. I would like to thank all the bosses here with me today.”
“Thank you and I’m very excited to be extending my contract with the network and of course, under Star Magic. I’m honored and proud to be here,” Richard furthered, dedicating his latest milestone to his mom. “I would like to thank my family for the constant support and love, of course headed by my mom right here. Happy birthday, Ma. This is a good birthday gift for you.”
Richard gears up for his “next chapter,” and he looks forward to acting alongside ABS-CBN’s finest talents. “I’m ready to work hard, and I’m ready to give world-class content to our Kapamilyas all over the world. That’s why I’m here,” he said. When asked who he wants to work with in the future, meanwhile, he replied:
“Marami pa kong hindi nakakatrabaho sa Kapamilya network so I’m actually looking forward to working with great actors [and] great actresses na Kapamilya. You know, I’m ready to work with anyone,” Richard told Metro.Style. “I want to work sana with Ms. Jodi Sta. Maria. She’s a great actress. I haven’t worked with her [yet].”
“I haven’t worked with Gerald Anderson as well. I want to work again with Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, given the opportunity, or Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano—one of those young love teams,” he added, saying that there are still a handful of artists in the network that he hasn’t been able to collaborate with yet.
“Kim Chiu also,” he went on, citing a few of his favorites. Back in 2018, Richard Gutierrez first signed a contract with ABS-CBN. Today, he is eyeing to make more productions with the network. “Sana mabigyan kami ng opportunity na magkaroon ng ensemble na project—na makatrabaho ko 'yung mga magagaling at mahuhusay na mga artista dito,” he concluded.
