Rumor is, Song Hye-kyo and Lee Jong-suk are starring in new drama Welcome Marriage (or Shining Ambition), the plot of which has yet to be revealed. All we know so far is that it could be directed by Kim Won-seok (the same man behind beloved K-Dramas Signal, Arthdal Chronicles, and My Mister) and the writers might be the Hong Sisters (Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran) whose body of work includes Hotel del Luna, Master's Sun, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, and The Greatest Love.
The 31-year-old Lee Jong-suk is currently enlisted in the military and will be discharged on January 2021. His last K-drama was the rom-com Romance is a Bonus Book, wherein he was paired with Lee Na-young. Meanwhile, Song Hye-kyo, 38, last worked on the melodrama/romance series Encounter with Park Bo-gum.
However, neither of the actress' and actor's agencies has confirmed that they were offered this project, leaving their fans with their fingers crossed.
