Check Out Solenn Heussaff & Nico Bolzico's Stylish BBQ-Themed Baby Shower At Home

Solenn Heussaff and her husband Nico Bolzico threw an intimate baby shower in their home over the weekend, surrounded by those closest to them sans the fanfare. 

Going against the grain of the series of grand celebrity baby showers we've seen in recent months, these first-time parents opted for a home-based celebration and organized barbecue-filled afternoon; but given Nico's love of great food and his talent at whipping up the juiciest, plumpest, tastiest slices of meat, we're sure the spread was more than everything Solenn and her guests could have expected!

Tropical tablescapes in refreshing colors of green and blue designed by Happy Ongpauco-Tiu certainly helped spruce up the meal, making everything look Insta-worthy. 

Keeping most of the day's event private, Solenn and Nico each posted a photo of themselves from the special occasion. Keeping in character, Solenn picked a more poised shot that highlighted her au naturale look and her off-shoulder dress in blue and white by Charina Sarte, while Nico went for a hilarious photo showing Solenn making a funny face and him enjoying a plateful of food.

There to enjoy the day with the couple were Solenn's long-time gal pals and fellow It-Girls Isabelle Daza, Georgina and Jess Wilson, Liz Uy, and Bea Soriano, most of whom became moms before Solenn and surely offered her words of advice and encouragement during this special time in her life. 

Industry friends like Rhian Ramos, Bianca King, Jess Diaz, Raymond Gutierrez, Boom Sason, Anne Gauthier, and Bea Constantino were also in attendance, and both Solenn's and Nico's moms were around, too!

The intimate baby shower is the most recent parenthood-related event that Solenn and Nico have enjoyed together.

They announced that they were having a baby in August and revealed their baby's gender in September (it's a girl!). This Christmas will be the first time they'll spend the holidays in Manila as Solenn is due to give birth in December. 

She and her sister-in-law, Anne Curtis, are both expecting.
