Spice Up Your Life! The Spice Girls Are All Set For A Reunion Tour!

When you're feelin' sad and low
We will take you where you gotta go
Smilin', dancin', everything is free
All you need is positivity

Colors of the world,
Spice up your life!

Admit it. You didn't just read those lyrics, but sang them in your head.

While you're at it, bring out those sparkly platform boots, micro minis, and leopard-printed bralettes from the nostalgia trunk because you're going to need them—Spice Girls has confirmed a 2019 reunion tour!

The news broke just hours ago as of this writing, much to the frenzy of the British girl group's fans from all over the world, both recent and forever loyal. They've been teasing at the possibility of getting back together for months now, but a recent promo that debuted on the Spice Girls' official Instagram account unmistakably confirmed the rumors.

The brief clip shows four of the pop sensation's members—Ginger Spice (Geri Halliwell), Baby Spice (Emma Bunton), Scary Spice (Melanie Brown), and Sporty Spice (Melanie Chisholm)—preparing for a faux news segment.

Lest we spoil the musical climax of the video, watch it for yourself below.

It's been a decade since the Spice Girls last went on tour, and in eight months, they're going to be rocking the UK once more with some of their greatest hits in the aptly named Spice World Tour. We expect to see millions of grown men and women bop their heads to familiar tunes like "Stop," "Wannabe," and "Spice Up Your Life," and wave their arms to "Viva Forever" or "2 Become 1."

It's an otherwise perfect summer to look forward to next year for Spice Girl fanatics, if they can look past one small hiccup; Posh Spice, otherwise known as Victoria Beckham, won't be joining them due to unspecified business commitments. Special guest singer Jess Glynne (who provided the vocals for massively popular dance hit "Rather Be") will be supporting the foursome instead.

But before you let your Spice Girl purist be consumed with rage at the decision, know that Jess is a fantastic performer herself. Here's a video that shows her singing a Spice Girls song:

But in the style of delivering bad news in between two pieces of good news, here's the second slice of good for you: Mel B dropped the bomb about a world tour following their UK gig—a huge treat for the group's international fans, of which there are millions. Their world tour details have yet to be finalized.

While we all wait for new developments about the tour (and hopefully a change of heart from Victoria, too!), why don't we all just brush up on Spice Girls choreography and take down a walk down memory lane? Check out their most watched videos below and don't forget—
