Stop Everything You're Doing And Listen To Sarah Lahbati Sing Baby Kai A Lullaby—In Perfect French!
Trop mignon! We bet you can't watch the clip just once.
And we sure wish it was longer!
The brief video shows the stylish mommy of two bringing smiles to her months-old baby Kai. The charming little boy is her second child with Richard Gutierrez, and little brother to Zion.
Dressed in a pocket-sized gray sweater patterned with different kinds of trees drawn in white, this tiny tot reacts to his doting mom's soothing voice with happy gurgles. As if that wasn't sweet enough, the musically talented Sarah delays her last note to plant a smooch on her baby's nose for perfect syncopation and a cuteness overload.
In case you were wondering, the trilingual beauty is serenading Kai with classic French song La Vie En Rose by Edith Piaf, which roughly translates to "Life in Pink." If it sounds familiar, that's because the 40s hit has been translated into a bunch of different languages, interpreted by multiple musicians, and has been featured in countless movies (the song's appearance in French rom-com Love Me If You Dare is a particularly memorable one!).
Translated to English, the love song speaks about finding romance and thinking only of one's love, even in difficult times—a lovely message to share with Kai!
This adorable Instagram video is only one of many of Sarah's posts that show off her love for her kids, but it's certainly one of our favorites. As an extra serving of heartwarming mommy-baby action, check out two more clips of Sarah bringing joy to Kai with her rendition of Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me To The Moon."
