Sunshine Garcia And Alex Castro's Opulent Wedding Has "Reflections" As Its Theme
Just as newlyweds Sunshine Garcia and Alex Cruz didn't hold back when they expressed their happiness at becoming each other's lifelong companions, their wedding reception radiated with opulent décor from every angle, treating the eyes with a visual feast to be remembered forever.

This bride gave her wedding team full credit for the job well done at making their dream wedding party come true.
In her Instagram post, Sunshine gave her thanks to wedding and event planning group Ycoy Sitchon of La Belle Fête Weddings & Events and florist and event stylist Badang Rueda. Together, this triple threat of a team created a "reflections"-themed wedding party, one that would speak of luster and brilliance, of golden magnificence.

Executed at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila's Grand Ballroom and inspired by the bride's very name, this wedding reception's setup brought Sunshine to tears, as it wasn't just everything that she had envisioned it to be—it was better.
Notable elements were the reflective tunnel filled with light and lush flowers that gave the venue an ethereal quality, the gilded dance floor, and the hundreds of lighting fixtures both subtle and grand, that resulted in a play of shadows for that beautiful dramatic effect.
As for the palette, a combination of black, metallic, and pink were put into a play for a contemporary finish.

Responding to Sunshine's heartfelt message to her complete list of supplies, some of them took the time to respond, mirroring the same tone of appreciation for the partnership.
Badang in particular wrote, "The true reward of hard work. Thank you Shine and Alex for trusting me with all your heart. Just exactly what I told you, your kindness is the reason why it was so easy for me to give my best. The beauty of the styling is just second to the beauty you possess - in and out. I am truly thankful for your appreciation and most especially for the love."

Despite the dominance of the theme that evening, it was clear that none other than love was what really shone through.
There was the love between Sunshine and Alex who share a son and got engaged last year, between Sunshine and her Banana Sundae and other Kapamilya co-stars who made it to her wedding, her former co-dancers who composed her bridal entourage, and of course, the love of both their families who came together to celebrate the bigger union between them.

Dressed in a Patricia Santos wedding gown on her big day, Sunshine married Alex on March 2 at the Manila Cathedral.
Her wedding look was done by hairstylist Aries Manal and her makeup by Gery Penaso. Alex's outfit and shoes were by Pepsi Herrera & Edwin Tan and Jefferson Si Designs respectively, and his grooming was by Joshen Vahn Lee.
Other suppliers the couple worked with were Metrophoto for the photo coverage; NicePrint for the video coverage; Bethany Dream Cakes for their floral-themed wedding cake; Migz With a Z as host; stage and dance floor by LX Events Pro; lights, trussing, tech and audio by Ignite Pro Sounds, Inc.; mirrored structures by 4th Wall; and Thoughtful Supply Co. for the principal sponsor gifts.
Their celebrity guests included Angelica Panganiban, John Prats, Isabel Oli, Pooh, Aiko Climaco, Jopay Paguia, and Joshua Zamora.
