Doug & Chesca Kramer Share Details About Their Much-Awaited Dream House
Doug and Chesca Kramer have always been willing to share a piece of their family’s life on social media. Their adorable kids Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin always brighten up their followers' day with their irresistible charm.
For those who are following the adventures of #TeamKramer, you know Doug and Chesca's plan of having baby number four through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). While we're all eager to know more about the IVF journey of this lovely couple, they are also keeping their followers constantly updated with the progress of their much-awaited dream house.
When Metro.Style asked what their favorite features of the house are, Doug says, "Everything! We wanted that dream house to not just be ‘our’ (Chesca and Doug) dream house but the dream house also of our children.”
Chesca, on the other hand, shares that their house is focused on sustainability in which they have their own vegetable garden for a healthier lifestyle, a unique water system called “Reverse Osmosis," and a solar panel that provides electricity. Doug adds, “It’s more than looking like a very nice house, it’s also very functional.”
I cannot wait to move and enjoy the fresh air! This is our open lanai beside the pool and the beautiful view! Eventually, we'll have a hanging sofa near the edge of the lanai and a tall outdoor wooden table for us all to enjoy breakfast and maybe a little sip of wine at night with my hubby! Sooo excited!! ??????
While talking about their dream house, Chesca revealed how Doug is the one who’s more focused on interior design. She says, “When it’s done, you will see how we both, but most especially Doug, created it. Doug was the one who sourced out the suppliers and everything.”
There will be a bigger space for their favorite playtime which is the “bahay-bahayan," strategically placed under the stairs to maximize the space; think Harry Potter’s room but with a much bigger headspace. On top of that, they created an area for picnic which is also conducive for learning since their kids are being home-schooled.
The view from our masters bedroom balcony. ?? A view that I will very soon be waking up to. I am already imagining all the many new memories we will be making here.?? The last photo is my favorite place in the house. Love all the different textures and materials used. This makes me look back at the time we were building our first home... I can still remember it like it was just yesterday. Here we are again, standing in front of a new home that we will be moving in in a few months. I am so thankful that I have such a hands on husband when it comes to the construction of our house and making sure everything is meticulously done. I have nothing to do with this. I just come with him every now and then and I am surprised each and every time. Ps. Don't worry I won't fall. There is a roof right below me.
Lastly, the couple gave some tips on travelling with kids, sharing their go-to vacation places, the beaches, and their favorite place which is the Disneyland. On travelling, Chesca looks back on their trip to the United States, saying, "That time we didn't have our helpers. We had to travel with three kids and five luggage then we had to take another five more. So basically, everyone helped each other. Those 11 days that we travelled to the States is really a memorable one because they all suddenly grew up and helped us."
