When Metro.Style asked what their favorite features of the house are, Doug says, "Everything! We wanted that dream house to not just be ‘our’ (Chesca and Doug) dream house but the dream house also of our children.”
Chesca, on the other hand, shares that their house is focused on sustainability in which they have their own vegetable garden for a healthier lifestyle, a unique water system called “Reverse Osmosis," and a solar panel that provides electricity. Doug adds, “It’s more than looking like a very nice house, it’s also very functional.”

While talking about their dream house, Chesca revealed how Doug is the one who’s more focused on interior design. She says, “When it’s done, you will see how we both, but most especially Doug, created it. Doug was the one who sourced out the suppliers and everything.”
There will be a bigger space for their favorite playtime which is the “bahay-bahayan," strategically placed under the stairs to maximize the space; think Harry Potter’s room but with a much bigger headspace. On top of that, they created an area for picnic which is also conducive for learning since their kids are being home-schooled.
Lastly, the couple gave some tips on travelling with kids, sharing their go-to vacation places, the beaches, and their favorite place which is the Disneyland. On travelling, Chesca looks back on their trip to the United States, saying, "That time we didn't have our helpers. We had to travel with three kids and five luggage then we had to take another five more. So basically, everyone helped each other. Those 11 days that we travelled to the States is really a memorable one because they all suddenly grew up and helped us."
