No More Bad Blood—The Katy Perry-Taylor Swift Feud Has Come To An End
As of this writing, all is well and good between pop superstars Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. The singer of the newly launched Reputation album shared in her Instagram Stories a short clip showing the olive branch sent to her as a gift by Katy with a note starting with, “Hey Old Friend.” Also in the note was a picture of Katy’s dog.
Why "old friend?" It's because the two talented artists reportedly had a feud that started back in 2014. At the time, were you a Taylor or a Katy follower?

In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine on her single, "Bad Blood," Taylor claimed that Katy was trying to sabotage her tour by hiring dancers who were supposed to be part of Swift’s "Red Tour."
Incidentally, the two performers had dated singer John Mayer in the past, although Taylor claimed that their feud was never about the guy and more about the business.

After the said interview, Katy posted on Twitter about an anonymous person in sheep’s clothing.
In 2017, Katy released a single titled "Swish Swish," which is believed to be a public rant about Taylor. Her perfume, "Mad Love," which was launched in 2016, is also believed to have a reference to Swift.
In an interview on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, she was quoted saying, “She started it. And it’s time for her to finish it. I tried to talk to her about it, and she wouldn’t speak to me. I do the right thing any time it feels like a fumble. [I got] a full shutdown, and then she writes a song about me [‘Bad Blood’]… that’s how you want to deal with it? Karma. There’s the law of cause and effect: you do something, there’s going to be a reaction. Trust me daddy, there’s gonna be a reaction."
Taylor, on the other hand, is believed to have referenced Katy in the music video of her 2017 single, "Look What You Made Me Do." In the music video, she comes out in leopard clothing with a pet leopard, which could mean a reference to Katy’s fans. There is also a scene wherein she is holding a Grammy; Katy has never won a Grammy.
Well, past is past. Fast forward to today, the two have seemingly patched things up. Kudos to them for ending the 4-year feud. Now, who wants a Katy-Taylor collaboration? We sure do!
